video sites

I'm all green and am learning flash on the fly.
If I link to wmv files within the project, will that speed things up?
I just redesigned http://www.grinnerhester.com and it's got some slow loadin...
I'm a video editor, not a web designer so any tips would be appriciated.

what does have a slow loading?
the site itself or the video(s) you're playing inside it?
If it's about the videos, then you can try a lower resolution to speed them up, also make sure the server where you host your site has a decent internet band, otherwise you can have the best player in the world, it still will be slow.
