Hi guys,
I stumbled on a website for some kind of 3D architectural modelling business, looks really cool - but no contact details put on the site! But what really took my mind away was that its FULLY 3D, I can even use my arrow keys to navigate like a game!
Anyway, I've never seen a site like this - so I thought I'd share it with all of you..check it out:
http://www.gogofrog.com/userdata/TBusinessT1
I really like the showroom that they have of interior designs! I'm in the middle of designing my own 3D website on that gogofrog site..feels like I'm designing a room!
Btw, I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post to...I just thought I'd share the information around, cuz the website seems to be free.

its pretty average.....for a business site its too annoying..most people looking for that kind of information wont care for the 3d environment, they just want to see the pictures and get information... takes too long to view all the pictures considering you having to walk around to see them all. not very practical.
nothing new here. not innovating in any way just uses cheap effects which overpower some of the good architecture they have in their folio.
think kind of flash works cool for some stuff, i dont think it works for these guys though.

I agree with DRO1D. I think that they should give up 3d enviroment for more nice 'finishing' details.

yea I agree with dro1d. It completely lacking as a proffesional site. I mean I suck at flash, and that site is beyond my level, but I can still say it isn't anything to write home about from my experience of looking at other sites.
An architectial modeling sites best bet would be to showcase some individual 3d environments...Quicktime has QTVR which, the end result is pretty amazing. Here are some examples..... http://www.virtualconcepts.co.za/qtvr/
The great thing about those images, they are realtively easy to set up. I have seen some that where full 360 degrees. I beleive for those they just cut up a panaromic image into 6 box sides....
that would be the way to go IMO, err why does that site have to resize my whole browser? and why does it never seem to finish loading..... hosted on a free site? Nothing proffesional about that.
It is an interesting concept though, I bet it could be done much better however

I agree with the last few posts. I think this is a poor method of info delivery for this type of business. Otherwise, I just don't think the Flash is that good. In fact, quite the opposite.

the best flash site is newgrounds.com, not the graphics on the site themselves, but what it represents. This site contains many thousands of flash movies, which can be submitted by anyone, and are watched and commented on by thousands of viewers (no, this is not a joke, if a movie is any good it usally gets a thousand views), best movies get much more.

don't know if it's been mentioned already, probably has, but personally this is one of the coolest flash sites i've seen although it doesn't make much sense as to what they're advertising or whatever but it uses 3d in flash, cellshaded graphics, looks real sweet. check it out:

UPDATE: Click on the japanese writing underneath the Enter site heading to open the flash site..
UPDATE: sorry one more update, u gotta click stuff a lot on the site in order to go to different parts of it.. even if it doesn't seem like a navigation thing, it probably is.. like if u see the japanese flag when u first launch it sitting there.. click it to start something.. kind of confusing first time on the site.

Hello
My name is Eric. I have stumbled into this site just this morning. Googled it and found it. Anyways I just made my site public just yesterday I was hoping that you guys can stop by and take a few minutes of your time to critique it. I've seen some of the Flash links here and quite impressed but mine is in a different calliber than what you guys see all the time. Anyways here my site http://graffickattackcreations.com/

Hey sithlord, if you are looking for critiques you need to post this in Ozzus
Website Review Section.
As a few heads up.
1) Posting your own site in 'which is the best flash site ever' just seems a little conceited...lol.
2) People are going to want to know what exactly makes your site a 'different caliber' than any other Flash site.
