My widget does not work as an e-mail signature

I have widget code which just works in myspace whereas it does not work in gmail as an signature or in facebook. The image is in the PNG format. Is it the reason? Should i convert it to JPEG.

Do you have an example of this "widget" Most email programs won't let you run something in your signature and if it is in Flash email programs don't have a flash player so it wouldn't work anyway.
