When it comes to flash, I have to be this forum's weakest link.

I found a music player that I would like to use, but want to change the cosmetics, etc.

The only problem is that there is no .fla file to edit and the objects and variables from the .swf file are not holding water in Flash Pro. (which is the only flash creator I'm familiar with)

I don't recognize the program used to create this one.. can someone identify it from the portion of code below?:

Code: [ Select ]
Global Variables:

 Variable _global.FStyleFormat = [function 'FStyleFormat']
{
  prototype:[object #2, class 'Object']
{
   addListener:[function 'addListener'],
   removeListener:[function 'removeListener'],
   applyChanges:[function 'applyChanges'],
   isAStyle:[function 'isAStyle']
  }
 }
  1. Global Variables:
  2.  Variable _global.FStyleFormat = [function 'FStyleFormat']
  3. {
  4.   prototype:[object #2, class 'Object']
  5. {
  6.    addListener:[function 'addListener'],
  7.    removeListener:[function 'removeListener'],
  8.    applyChanges:[function 'applyChanges'],
  9.    isAStyle:[function 'isAStyle']
  10.   }
  11.  }

you are serious right..............

flash is made in flash so anything adobe should recognize it but the final product has been compiled and 8 lines of global variables is little info.

Is there anything you can add like is there any developers marks int he properties or anything to work with.

Check properties of the file is the only thing i can think of.

haha, Z! I need to choose my terminology more carefully..

simply meant this must be an older version of something and as3 isn't buying it.. I kept getting errors in the compiler and would have to change a little here and there (like the way to add a listener was written). I've done very little in flash before, but it's one of those things I would like to become better at.. so much for taking this one apart to see what makes it tick ;)
