sorry, but if i run windows update wouldn't microsoft no what things i have on my computer. And thats what i asked the specific one. But if microsoft can't tell what i have on my computer then i am glad to do the window update

umm from the microsoft site which exact updates should i get because the window update take quiet some time with 56k. It would be much appretiaited!!!!!!!!!!!

ok lets do it this way what update should i get for windows 98 that woun't give me the flickering problem and which one should i get for windows xp!!

the problem is that i don't have any updates except for
intenet explorer 6 sp1
windows media player 9 series
what did he mean by updates like getting newer patches for the operating system (98)

Hey guys i just jopined this forum i was wondering how i can fix that problem because i have the exact same problem on both my computer. I have XP and 98. I read what the guy said about how to fix the problem but i don't get it.
