Hey dipi,
I like the clouds, they look pretty cool. I think the barn building thinger would look better with more light on it, but it's too dark so it sort of messes with your eye. It's good for just a quick shot though.

Yeah I pretty much always use text myself. Just out of curiousity, do you have and/or use phpMyAdmin for your MySQL databases? It makes all this kind of thing a lot easier since you can visually see what your doing. It gives you a big drop down box of all the datatypes which is really helpful. Good ...

Yup, that's exactly what I'm doing.
Actually if you scroll down pretty far on the second link, you'll notice a table

Thanks ATNO.
That'll be helpful to look at his source and all that.
Thanks for taking the time to post some links for me :)

Yeah, the validation thing b_. and tables aren't depricated, you're right, sorry I phrased that wrong. W3 suggests that tables shouldn't be used for layouts and all that anymore, but you are right, they aren't depricated, because they still have uses, just not for layouts. Yargh, I'm talking in circ...

Hey everyone, As I've been working on a project with a friend of mine I have been having some random struggles. See, part of the project is making our site completely CSS compliant and reliant on divs and spans and paragraphs and all the good confusing stuff, rather than the now depricated tables of...

That's awesome :)
Alright, I'm done bothering you. Sorry for the annoying questions.

I might as well sign in too My name's Josh, I'm 17, in high school and all that. I've been designing and what not for years, but I haven't been serious about it until the last couple years. Right now I'm tightening up my CSS skills and getting into PHP. I do a lot of photoshop work and stuff, trying...

Well see I have all the books and software and all that I need, I own 2 domains which are semi-succesful, or are going to be. I would love to work for another company but I don't even know where to start looking, or how to sell myself to them or anything. If anyone has any ideas on that, feel free t...

Darn, you're not my long lost twin :(
I live not far from Rochester, so I'm not really central like you, but Syracuse is only like an hour away from here.
Did you guys get a snow day today or anything because its like -1000 degrees in NY?

Post Posted: Janvier 16th, 2004, 10:56 am

Where in NY do you live b? I'm a 17 year old junior in a crappy town in new york too, so it's entirely possible that you're my long lost twin or possibly even someone I have driven past once.

Post Posted: Janvier 16th, 2004, 10:38 am

I highly doubt anyone would higher me, since I'm just a junior in high school and don't have a skill anyone would probably need on their team or anything. It's not like I suck at stuff or anything, I could easily make websites, but I would look like crap under a bunch of professionals.

That's a good idea, I like that one.
Thanks :)

No see, I've had a domain for like 2 years now, and I own like 2 others as well. I'm not entirely new to this, if you click the + xxviiiBlue + link in my footer you'll see that I have a moderately appealing site, it just lacks content and all that. So after I build up my site right now and get out t...

that's really nice and original, it's refreshing to see stuff like that. The only complaint I have is get rid of the white background, it kind of throws off the whole picture, maybe if you just added some random newspaper articles or something back there. Regardless of whether you change it or not, ...
