this happens everytime I change user, not just the first.
I am on a network, but i configured the ips and dns's manually, i'm not using dhcp-client

tjis happens everytime i change user, switch ou logout-login. about background programs... i don't have many... but i'll check. checked, but i didn't find any program that was using much memory. one thing i have noticed is that when i change user, it doesn't load the system tray programs correctly....

i've recently installed Windows XP professional.... on my laptop.
and created 3 users: Admin, UserA and UserB.
But when a logout from one user, and login as another... XP becomes amazingly slow (my old Pentium 90MHz is faster).
Any ideas on what the problem might be
