I've been contemplating using addurl.html as my main page for adding urls to my search engine. Do you think addurl.html is wise to use this following link for my addurl form?

NOTICE THE ADDURL.HTML

when you have a link submission on your site? I think that by using addurl.html this is a general term that people might search for when building links.

Do you think addurl.html is good or is addurl.html bad? It's kind of a staple of link building, so I'm stuck between afraid to use it b/c of spam and excited to use it because it will be a great SEO tactic.

The bad side of addurl.html is that it is possibly going to attract lots of spam. Being that its so generic, this also might be a spam magnet.

Thoughts opinions etc?

I'm not sure if you're getting a bit over-excited by a very simple bit of SEO or not-so-subtly trying to spam the board. I think it's the latter but just in case and fyi: "add_url.html" would be better.

Either way I think it's in the wrong forum.

No I'm honestly not trying to hit the forum with processed meats. This is a straight forward question that I am addressing to the forum. So using the _ separating the addurl will make it better for SEO? Wouldn't the _ just add another character that typically isn't searched for?
