AIM Problem

my AIM boots me off after like 5 or 10 min and when i'm talking it takes forever for me to get the other persons message. i have turned off my firewall and reinstalled AIM i have no idea what is goin on need HELP!!!

is it just aim that disconnects, or does your ip/modem reset also?

Dot, there's no need to start 2 new threads on this topic.

Perhaps there's a problem with AIM's servers. It's kinda difficult to help with what little information you've given.

Um, ive had this problem too......and i finnaly decided that i hated AOL in general because of all the crap i discovered on my computer when i went sifting through my files trying to get ride of it. Part of the problem with my system was that it didnt have enough power to run all of my TSRs along with Aim, and AIM seemed (back then) to be fairly unstabel, so it would crash. I also suggest looking for spyware and viruses that can be screwin with your system.
