For those who'd like more info on the image: it is, of course, the very famous Hubble Ultra Deep Field image: wiki link, NASA link.

Over 10,000 galaxies in that image...

*cough" for those wishing to create their own, here's the download page for the originals: link

Here's another neat thing I just stumbled on. Use your mouse to drag around and get different views.

Now, now...he said he could do it...so that means original deep space pics and all.
I'd love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

*note I said "similar" - POVRay is a digital generation proggy but I can create space, stars and galaxies, etc with it.

"Similar" does not assume original pics.

I also said I could "probably" do it. But now that I'm challenged, I think I might give it a shot. Don't expect it anytime soon tho. My time is seriously challenged for the next several weeks.

Still want to challenge me?

Those links don't work. :( Let me say this first - I was just messing with you. I remember several of the landscape flyover movies you used to do & I've seen lots of your art work. You challenged yourself, I just want to see the end product. It's like going into a forum and saying you hacked a website - proof or it didn't happen!

Sorry about those links. Just go to the OZZU photo gallery and search for me. Scroll through the pages of my photos. There's 4 galaxy pics there. And yeah, I know you were messing with me. Now though I'd really kind of like to play with it to see what I could do. Would improve both my POVRay skills and Flash. The zoom and the panorama would be what would be the real challenge. Making Galaxies is a breeze with the Galaxy include in Povray. There's like 64,000 random seeds to generate with.
