Red pumice is used in a lot of landscaping around here. I'm guessing that gray stuff is used to make foot scrubbers and whatnot.

I thought the same exact thing when I saw it.


All I can say is WOW! That would be pretty amazing to come up on while out at sea. Live volcanic activity happening right in front of you in the middle of the open ocean. Kind of scary too if you really think about it.

And why would that guy drive right through it? Wouldn't he think that it could mess up his motor?
