I think it would be interesting if a song from other genre's made it...Taylor (or whoever the grey-haired guy is) tried with his first audition... I hope he makes it personally...he knows music is about more than just looking young and trendy

I screwed up. I didn't pick Mandisa in my final 6 for the women. At the moment, she's got the women's side wrapped up! Although Kelly Pickler gave her the only run for the money tonight (You know the "mink"/"minx"). OK, I say skip nixing two women. Let's just take it down to those two and let the guys fight it out.

Reviving this post. Coming down to the wire. The only one of the four remaining I missed was Elliot. And on his first song tonight the only one all three judges approved of. And he's the underdog. I'm starting to think it's coming down to Katherine and Chris. What do you think?

At our work pool we had to submit top 3 in right order when it was the final 12.

1. Kat
2. Chris
3. Pickler

well last night sucked for me.
The person who will win has:

1. Kat
2. Pickler
3. Taylor

They should be the winner, no one else really has elliot with taylor/kat.

I'd imagine mcphee winning, taylor 2, elliot 3.

*lol Yeah, I was totally shocked to see Chris get booted last night and equally as shocked to see Kat in the bottom two. They both have talent coming out their ears. I thought for sure it would be either Elliot or Taylor. Next week is going to be rather interesting for sure.

i dont watch american idel after the second season i thought that simon sounded like a script like he was payed to just to say that people are bad not to jugde them on there singing. but i have plenty of friends that watch it and and there saying some women is going to win this time

I'd love to see Kat get it, but had to go with Taylor. except for Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Kat just didn't do it last night. As usual Taylor did.

Agreed. Taylor is the stronger competitor, but you never know about those wild-card players. Might happen to pull it off. We will wait and see. :)
