Any Golfers here?

That is one of the most ignorant statements I've heard this year.

I'm not well to do, I've been playing since I was in highschool, paying for it with my minimum wage job. Now I buy yearly memberships and play several times a week including a Mens league. Most of the guys I play with make less then $40K per year.

However, it is a lot of fun. Don't start out on a golf course, go to a driving range. I probably hit 3,000 balls before I ever stepped on a course. You need to know what you are doing before you go out there. Not only will this make it more enjoyable for yourself, you won't be pissing off the groups stuck behind you (you'll play slow).

Anyways, went out last night after work. Pars and Bogeys! Missed some birdy puts. It's coming back!

I dont think any one needs to so rich enough to play any game for that matter. You want to play or learn a game..like golf you will definitely find a way to play/learn the game.

Hm, thanks nithyap, just about 2 days ago this thought came up my on mind. Where I live, nearby has a golf club. I'm going to just go and play w/e they have...
