Any one know a good forum provider?

You see, I need new forums on my site. No one likes my current forums ( There Proboards) i tryed like 50 providers, none of them i like, i tryed invision free its all screwed up and won`t let me do anything. I`m all out of options! someone please help me!

vBulletin is my personal favorite, but it's not free.

My secondary favorite is phpBB, which is free and is what this forum uses.

It's not hard exactly, but you do need to have some idea of what your doing, you also need hosting that supports it.

http://www.phpbb.com/ is the one we use on our forums on my website. Alan2 set it up though he might have some hints.

While in concept it is simple, in actual creation it can take many weeks to make a usuable one.

I'd recommend just going with phpBB, unless you only need 1 category, then it is basically a multi post guestbook.

i am going to assume you dont have your own hosting, therefore I would highly recommend: http://www.hostboard.com

You can set up one through them easily and customise it to suit your website. It also doesnt have popup advertising, a great thing.
