It's not really forwarding, all outlook express is doing is talking directly to AOL's email server and retrieving your messages. Your going to have to get some info from AOL and see if they use IMAP or POP3 and what the addresses are for there servers like (mail.aol.com) or something to that effect. Then when you setup your outlook it will ask you for your username and password for your email account. Then it will ask you IMAP or POP3 and that is where the (mail.aol.com) address comes into play. Oh and don't forget the SMTP address if applicable. They should have some directions somewhere or tech support to help you along, enjoy :D

AOL don't allow email retrieval using anything other than the AOL browser..

There is currently no FREE way to do it, however, there is a program called http://www.aol2pop.com/]AOL2POP, which, can allow you to do this.

You can check your AOL messages away from the AOL browser, by going to http://webmail.aol.com or http://aolmail.aol.co.uk. I'm not sure about the Australian address.

Hope some of that helps :)
