I was working on my hosting through ssh, and was copy the applications framework I use to run my webpages to a public location to start coding a new page. Well it copied over the applications folder into the public one instead of the contents inside of it. Well it turns out I was working my a root directory. So when I sent the command rm -Rf to remove the directory, instead of just removing the one I copied :throwmonitor: :bash: , it removed my ENTIRE applications directory. This contains ALL of my web pages... not good. Lucky the host was able to restore it from a backup from yesterday in a little less than 20 minutes.  :beerchug:

So this is just me telling all of you to make a backup now if you haven't done so in a while!

Good advice, spoof. My PC has been acting weirdly and I'm a bit worried. My vista doesn't allow me to back-up, so I had to copy and paste to an external hard-disk. (sigh)
