I use Symantec corporate edition. (i.e. Norton) Works very well. However, I'll also say that I went a year and a half without virus protection and didn't pick up a single bug, simply by good surfing habits and being able to recognize viruses in email and never opening an attachment that I was not 100% sure of.

I used to use Dr. Solomon's Anti-Virus. After meeting with Dr. Alan Solomon at a hacking conference in London in '96, I was sold, lol.

I've since switched to Norton.

Cool! - Yep - Pittsburgh is a great place. I do enjoy getting into the city. Lot's to do and a ton of great history there.

Ya, I think AVG really is bad it does not protect you. It just tells you were they are not how to get them off.

Actually I like the norton and Mcafee aware viruses that say everything is alright, then go and do a scan with AVG and it picks the virus off in the first scan. Maybe I should switch back to norton, then again I would need another hole in my head  The only time AVG hasn't pulled a virus off for me was when a virus was in the restore section of a winME computer.
