Post November 4th, 2008, 11:26 am

Hi I would like to know: where do you guys register your domains and why?
Similarly, which is the cheapest domain registrar for COM, NET, ORG, INFO and US extensions. Thanks in advance.

I've always used Godaddy for United States domain names. The price is decent and I've never had a problem with them (although I wouldn't recommend the hosting)

I use Godaddy for purchasing domains as well. I also wouldn't recommend them for hosting. I did purchase a SSL Cert through them today though, as they seemed to be very well priced with a sale going on right now at $15.00 USD per year.

mydomain.com (previously dotregistrar.net) offers bulk pricing which can bring the price down alittle depending on how many domains you typically register in a year...

I've been registering there for a long time. Not for hosting tho'

Also consider sibername.com - they are pretty reasonaqble as well. Note, that it is a canadian company. Accredited by every organisation.
