Quote:
TAMPA — Billy Mays, the TV pitchman whose trademark voice helped sell everything from cleaning supplies to baking soda, was found dead this morning by his wife at his Tampa home. No cause of death has been reported and no foul play is suspected, according to Tampa police.

Mays, 50, was pronounced dead at 7:45 a.m. in his gated neighborhood near the Westshore Yacht Club, said Tampa police spokeswoman Laura McElroy. He told his family he wasn't feeling well Saturday and went to sleep early at 10 p.m., McElroy said. His wife, Deborah Mays, found him unresponsive this morning.

I had heard that he was on a plane a day or two ago, and their landing was kind of rough and some stuff fell out of the overhead compartment on top of him, I wonder if he had some sort of acute brain bleeding or something.

Geez, well, always seems like these things come in 3's. Crazy.
I'd love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

Billy Mays makes four. In the last week and a half we've had Ed McMahon, Farah Faucet, Michael Jackson and now Billy

So Farah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, and Billy Mays all die at the same time and go the Heaven only to find Ed McMahon tending the Pearly Gates.

As the three stand in front of the gates with puzzled looks on their faces Ed McMahon says to them, "if you'ld watched the Tonight Show, you would have seen this comming."

Now we can add Karl Malden to the list. Did at age 97.

Five--David Carradine last month or whenever that was. It was pretty recently.

So with Karl Malden, that makes 6.

We need to start a lottery that works kinda like picking dogs at the racetrack, but with the years people will die.

Who would have thought MJ, Ed McMahon, and Farah Fawcett would all die in the same year ?

Bob did and he just hit his trifecta !

I was thinking the same thing as JB, you could get pretty strategic. There has to be a mathematical formula that will calculate risk factors (drug and alcohol use, dangerous hobbies like bungee jumping, that kind of stuff), and a persons age, and their general state of health including family history. When you run the numbers, it ought to tell you who is next in the celebrity world.
