So I have a client who does scrapbooking classes at their shoppe. Their class schedule changes monthly and they want an easily updatable calender on their website. One that they can update and users can't, of course. It needs to be extremely easy for them to use. Thing is, I don't want to have to write a bunch of code for this as I'm doing it as a favor for someone. Are there any calender scripts out there written with cms or the likes that are interactive and user friendly - preferably one that updates on the site automatically?

Outlook Web Access might work for you.

??? ummmm Don, that would presume an Exchange Server and domain access. Don't think that's quite what he had in mind.

mindful there's literally thousands of calendar scripts in just about any programming language you can imagine

If you have php available easyphpcalendar is a good one http://www.easyphpcalendar.com/

I didn't know that it depended on Exchange.

Yep. It's not a standalone product. Even from the link you posted:

Outlook Web Access (OWA) originally called Exchange Web Connect (EWC), is a webmail service of Microsoft Exchange Server 5.0 and later. The web interface of Outlook Web Access resembles the interface in Microsoft Outlook. Outlook Web Access comes as a part of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and previous versions of Exchange.

Ugh, avoid Exchange server at all costs. bleh. OK - maybe I'm biased, but it would def. be over-the-top for the OP request.
I'd love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

lol, okay awesome. http://www.easyphpcalendar.com/ looks good. What do you guys think of an embedded google calander? I don't have any experience using google calender. Is it easy to use? I know it's got it's limitations on customizing the skin; but the google api is generally thorough enough.

so rarely do I misspell. Hope you let me off the hook this time, lol. Looks like Google is a no go. Google Calendar seems to be one of the very few that can't be custom skinned. oh well, easyPHPcalendar looks to be the best option of the several I found.

I just added Google Calendar to a website and I think it's slick. Lots of options...
