Imagine if you see a man weeps in public, what will you think of him? Because he does not have time to go home and cry. Everywhere he goes, there is someone knows him. (in campus).

Let us say -- not in public, do you think it is normal?

Depends. Is he a big huge guy with lots of dragon and flame tattoos, or is he he a little clean cut guy? Also does he just start crying for no reason, or did his grandma just die?

He is 6 foot tall. Not fat, a bit athletic. Wear tight jeans today, a hoodie. Has auburn chin length hair. (brown more). Wear Glasses. No tattoos. But he is thinking seriously to get one. (his whole right hand). He *cries (if) due to many factors. Someone has to leave. Too many assignments due. He can not decide something. To name just a few.

Sounds more like he needs to take a long motorcycle ride through the country side and then sit on his couch and enjoy a nice cold beer, then sleep late the next day and get *plum* done.

You know, it depends on the case and on weak nerves.

MAN, that only shows that he is human. And he has the gut to shed a few drops of tears.

I think crying is a perfectly acceptable show of emotion, as long as it's not overused.... I wouldn't think anything bad of someone I saw crying once, but I might think something's a bit off with someone if I saw them crying every second day....

The Rolling Stones made it socially acceptable for a grown man to cry.
Strong with this one, the sudo is.

I don't think it's wrong for a man to cry, however, if he's so prone to crying he might want to be evaluated for depression. For a man or woman, it seems unusual to react that way to even minor stresses, IMO.

ditto dM.

and I don't think it has much to do with gender either. I'd be more than a little worried about any female in my vicinity breaking into tears on a regular basis - even once a week.......

If I saw someone on campus crying, I'd think something serious happened to them (relative dieing)... and that wouldn't be weird...

If I saw them crying more then once... well that wouldn't be normal...

Probably depression... but I'd still think of the person as the kid that cries

I cry on a regular basis...but I really like onions in my food

Thank you everybody. Perhaps, this song says exactly how I am feeling.

For you, listen here: I'll be there

Quote:
Over Mountains
Over Trees
Over Oceans
Over Seas
I'll be there

In a whisper on the wind
On the smile of a new friend
Just think of me
And I'll be there

Don't be afraid, oh my love
I'll be watching you from above
And I'd give all the world tonight,
To be with you
Because I'm on your side,
And I still care
I may have died,
But I've gone nowhere

Just think of me,
And I'll be there

On the edge of a waking dream
Over Rivers
Over Streams
Through Wind and Rain
I'll be there

Across the wide and open sky
Thousands of miles I'd fly
To be with you
I'll be there

Don't be afraid, oh my love
I'll be watching you from above
And I'd give all the world tonight,
To be with you
Because I'm on your side,
And I still care
I may have died,
But I've gone nowhere

Just think of me,
And I'll be there

In the breath of a wind that sighs
Oh, there's no need to cry

Just think of me,
And I'll be there

I may not be able to control how people reaction are, and how things will be. But I can always control my own reaction.

Love you all.

Can a Man Cry? what a question? well anyway the answer is yes no matter if the person's heart is like a stone if there's a reason to cry on no matter where he is he will cry for sure. Just like me when I was in high school I used to fight a lot in the streets with my gang but I've never cry even I was beaten to death. But last summer when we were in vacation we were at the supermarket buying somefoods with my parents and my girlfriend and somebody call into my phone and I heard a bad news that my grandmother has died. Suddenly by tears burst into my eyes and theres no way I can stop it and theres so many people seeing me crying I can't control my feeling because I love my grandmother.
