Not sure where this fits in, but I got a kick out of it. Just thought it was funny, so since I found it humorous I thought it'd fit into General Discussion rather than Web Hosting.

I thought this was interesting. Now you can get not only a domain, but a CHRISTIAN domain!

I wonder what decides whether or not a domain name is a Christian or not? How do you baptise a website?!

Actually guys, if you take a look they are a reseller for Ark Web Design with a similar purpose that many here have (taking the "ministry" part out of it):

http://church-webs.com/aboutus.htm

i.e.

Quote:
Our goal was, and still is, to help ministries to be able to go online at the lowest cost possible and still have a professional online presence.

I'm looking at some of their code and reviewing the site and am hard pressed to find issues with the design of it. It's far superior to over 50% of what I've seen posted in our own reviews board.

I doubt it. You can check out arkwebs and see that they offer a variety (apparently Apache/Linux solutions)

Looks like there's a choice of cPanel and ensim, too. Looks like the normal stuff to me.

Does it really matter if their marketing to Christians if they provide what is a common standard at a good price?

Doesn't matter one bit. I'd use them if they were the best of what was offered. I wonder if they accept money from agnostics. :)

I think most of the stuff posted on our review board is created by people younger than 18 years old. Uh, not that that matters though. *cough* :?
