Wow, I don't think I have ever seen DHTML transitions that looked good until now. Thanks for the link, and yeah! It is open source

Wow, that is some amazing stuff.

I've tried my hand at DHTML a while ago, wasn't too good at it. After looking at this site I realized I have done a lot of this stuff in Flash. Maybe I should try it in DHTML now

http://bodytag.org/ has some nice stuff too. Not all of it is DHTML though, they have some Java Applets. It tells you what it is under the experiment name.

I booted up IE and had a look, looking at this stuff makes me wonder why so many games are made in flash when dhtml can do just fine.

Program a game in Flash and then try to program a game in DHTML. You will see why. ;)

look at the price of flash and compare it to the price of windows notepad and you'll see why that doesn't convince me

Flash has way more capabilities than DHTML, and it works the same cross browser without having to create browser specific functions.

I was very impressed by the dhtml effects on the website.
Decided would adapt one as test intro for a soccer website I look after.

For the result, look here:
http://www.hcsoccer.com.au/introtest2.html

I am very pleased with the result, loads quick too,
- I am on 56k dial up.

Any opinions/comments?
