David Blaine is a genius IMO. Although it's a known, scientific fact that
most humans can't go longer than 2 weeks (on avg) without food or
water. 44 days is ridiculous and as much as I love DB, I don't think this
is real.

I agree with whoever said there will be nutrients in the water, its definatly some sly move.

From what I learned in a survival class that I had to take when I was taking Flight technology courses, was that people can go a very long time without food, but without water you cannot last long. Water is very important.

In my local paper there was a story about how it's going for him. It seems that his box has been egged several times, his girlfriend has washed it off. Also two guys got an R/C Helicopter and dangled a cheeseburger from it right in front of his face. I don't think it really mentioned anything else.

It would be a lot cooler if he wasn't getting his nutrients through a 'drip', but if he had to recycle his urine. Btw, where the heck does he go the bathroom?

In my opinion, he should have stopped as soon as he did the levitation trick. That has to be the coolest thing I'v ever seen in my life.

schmeg007 - i agree 100%. his regular magic is far more impressive to
me than these stunts. I really have no interest in them at all. and I love
the guy otherwise....oh well.

A guy I know can do that, it is all about angles and making sure only one foot can be seen.

I personally like how he uses the need for a citrusy drink as patter. It also helps to draw an unwanted person who is behind him, infront of him.

he is a cheat, and a fake, but unlike the other 2 stunts, which were IMPOSSIBLE to do in real life,

this one is ACTUALLY possible....

yes, you can stay in a box for 44 days

BUT obviously if this guy computer edits wires from his TV tricks, he CERTAINLY will be eating liquid food !

why would anyone belive anything he says ?

I know how ALL his tricks stunts have been done,

only this time, it seems he may actually be in the box, but still not 100% convinced....

will go again and video tape the box


any comments ?
