Yeah I saw that. It's really cool. I think I like it better in black.

At first I thought it was FireFox crapping out on me.

Credit to Google. I like their stance on the Environment. I remember seeing on a documentary that all company cars are electric. Why did Electric cars not kick off?

It's a conspiracy.

Hmm. Yeah and the WWF...
I don't know what exactly is that, I know it's something like donation to the nature lives or something.

Couldn't they have picked something that makes more sense than turning our lights off at a time we need them though ?

Between 8 & 9 PM if someone has their lights on to begin with it's probably because they want to see what they're doing.

I'm all for saving energy, but not if it means I have to go back to the dark ages.
Strong with this one, the sudo is.

Hi SB,

I actually own a vehicle leasing company. The main reasons that electric cars have not taken off are as follows:

1. Maximum speed of vehicles is reduced.
2. Batteries that store the power were too bulky and heavy.
3. Refuelling (charge time) minimum of 3 hours.
4. Trip length of only around 60 miles.
5. Lack of refuelling (charge) points.
6. Lack of government tax breaks for owners of environmentally friendly cars.
7. Lack of support from petro chemical industry, ie shell, esso etc want to sell oil derived fuels not electricity.
8. Poor revenue for fuel taxes compared to oil based fuels, in the UK for every gallon of gas/petrol/diesel we buy the tax is 78%.

On my site I have a page dedicated to Hybrid cars, have a look, this is not a link spam, just think it's relevant to your post. http://www.lease2u.co.uk/hybrid.php

All the best

Pete
