Please people, go to the link below in internet explorer 6 and only internet explorer 6. This is an experiment that I am trying to conduct. Just go to the link and answer the question above. It will take 10 seconds of your time. Thank you muchly :D

If you're looking to break it for IE only, add any XML Encoding type declaration.

No, My version of IE6 shows it in "throwing a wobbley" mode. It glitches, but it appears that everyone else's version is showing correctly. I'm not trying to break it for IE 6, you can normally break IE without trying  You can break it by removing the doctype apparently. I just wanna know why my version of IE is rendering wrong....

6.0.2800.1106IS is the version number.

I've just done a little research and it turns out my version is behaving like IE5.x or like IE in "quirks mode" in this instance. I'm gonna try and reinstall IE to see what happens. Thank you everyone for voting :D

omg do thos acknowledgements ever end? You'd think if that many people worked on IE it would be a bit better.

or maybe its because too many cooks spoil the broth

you would wouldn't you? It's probably because soo many people worked on it that it is so poor. Right hand not knowing what the left is doing, maybe?

I found it just as interesting to read the little scroll down box in the "about" and see just how many "outside" companies had a hand in it.
