On my old Laptop I had XP, on my wifes news laptop she has Vista. We always use Hotmail for our email accounts. On XP when I am on sites like Craigslist, Ebay, any site that has email addresses embedded to make contact, the XP will automatically hook to Hotmail for the emails. When I use the same tactics on Vista, the emails allways open the Microsoft Live email window and basically wants me to download Outlook or buy outlook, so frustrated with it I am not sure of what it is asking. When I try to send the email note from their window using my hotmail account it says Vista no longer accepts hotmail, gmail... I think I have checked every setting I know of to have vista access hotmail. Anyone have any suggestion on settings that will send these email links to hotmail instead of microft products.

I searched google for Vista no longer accepts hotmail. That was one of the results. Repeat the search for more answers.
