1.What OS do you use?
- Mac OSX, Windows 3.1/95/98/2000/NT/Server, Linux (wooo) and Dos!
2.For how long u heve been using it?
- Just MacOSX now, I converted. Half a year. The rest for like 10 years or so... since the beginning man, since the beginning.
3.What OS u prefer?why?
- Mac OSX... unix base... VERY blunt functionality, there's no BS, little virus worry, good networking skillz, etc... works well.
4.How good u consider ur self with using ur OS?
- The Mac OSX, not so well since I'm new, the rest I'm proficient.
5.What is the future of the OS?as u think?
- Can't ever tell...
6.How did u become an expert in your field?if u are?
- Im a graphic designer, of both illustration, digital painting and artwork, branding, 3d modelling, and website production. I come from parents who were mechanical engineers and a brother who's a software engineer. It's in the blood-and I've been on a computer since I was 4, lol. Done graphic work since middle school.. naturally, everything came together.

1.What OS do you use? FreeBSD [4.9, servers; 5.2.1 Desktops, laptops], RH9, RHE, SLES, AIX, Solaris... and oh yeah, some win2k
2.For how long u heve been using it? er, uh... VMS goes back to the early 80's, Unix shortly thereafter. Over 20 years, at least. (I remember hacking mainframes from NCR teletypes back in the 70's... did I say that?
3.What OS u prefer?why? FreeBSD; Stability, Security, Speed
4.How good u consider ur self with using ur OS? hmm. :) Better than some, worse than others. ;)
5.What is the future of the OS?as u think? *nix on the desktop -- IBM is transitioning towards a 2005 goal, internally. Security, while it has always been one of the most important factors, will become such in the eyes of the CFO's.
6.How did u become an expert in your field?if u are? Am I? Hmm. Years and years of hacking. Rewriting components I liked, making new ones where required.

1.What OS do you use?
XP Home (desktop), XP Prof (laptop), RH Linux (file server)

the first one: because i wanted the software compatability of XP, and it was cheaper the Prof, Prof: b/c it came with my laptop, Linux: b/c its free and more stable then XP

3.What OS u prefer?why?
XP Prof, because it is compatible with all the programs i use... and Prof is better then Home just on basic principle, because microsquish basiccaly just took a hack saw to XP Prof and cut out a bunch of stuff to make the Home Edition
