It's still warm here. A bit of rain... that's about it.

Meh.

You know, i never thought i'd ever say this but i am jealous of all you guys with snow and jealous of everyone with sun and heat. It sucks being right in the middle. Granted it is pretty cold, but it's still bloody average.

With that said, we've had enough strong winds recently (some strong enough to be mistaken for a hurricane). The thing i was taught at school though was there are 4 seasons in a year... Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. So far, in the last 365 days where i live we have had a big massive spring/winter. Yet i say winter reluctantly because the last time i saw a decent amount of snow was a year past December when it snowed for more or less a month straight.

I've spoken to people at work about the weather this winter and everyone is completely surprised at how mild it has been, especially after last winter being so cold and wintry. It's not uncommon for us to get alot of snow in Feb, so i may be speaking too soon.

It is nice here when it snows but my part of Montana is weird because it snows and rains, so most of the winter is slushy and muddy. I think it is because we are in a mountainous area but relative civilization is really low elevation, only about 2100 feet in my town. Spring time is the worst around here because it is till bitter cold at night but we get torrential rain in the day so there is water standing everywhere. Summers are great though! Night time temps in the 40s and daytime temps in the 80s with small afternoon rain showers that you can almost set your watch to.

Its hot here as well. I've probably only worn a jacket a total of about a week all winter so far. So i'll trade for some cold weather and snow anytime.

Well it may be me. It is still kind of raining here, but we are in the process of drying out and actually going to get a stretch of sun and temps almost near 60 which is fairly warm for this time of the year. Check it out:

After you told me how much sun and warmth you had, I was hoping you would share a bit -- so thanks :)

I've heard it all before...

I know of people all over the country outside of my city of residence that has been getting snow, yet it seems to be avoiding here. I don't think i've wanted snow as much as i do now in all of my life.

That weather warning note at the top is the most over-rated thing in the world. The amount of times i've seen some sort of "winter warning" on weather sites in the past only to be greeted with sunshine and warmth is unreal.

And here I thought you lived in Phoenix during the winter months, specifically to avoid this kind of weather.

I do not have a generator. It is on the list after this year though, would have been nice to have.

Typically this time of the year we are down in Arizona, but my sister and sister-in-law both had a baby recently so we decided to stay here this year and rent out our home instead.
