Is this happening to anyone else, perhaps a bit too frequently?

It's been doing this seemingly randomly since I upgraded to Firefox 3.

I've not been getting that message, but there are a few things happening on Firefox that has been putting me off it a bit recently. In saying that, the most recent update seems to have made things a bit better now.

I have only gotten that message once, but there have been several times FF 3 crashed for no apparent reason.

I have not received that message, but randomly, FF will not allow me to hear sound, watch vids and will just crash for no reason, it also freezes. I don't like FF3 I regret upgrading.

Now that I think about it, it's only started since installing that PicLens. If it keeps it up, I'll probably uninstall it.

The machine that it's happening on for me doesn't have PicLens installed.

Any other plugins/extensions? My experience in older versions of FF especially after upgrades was a plugin was getting all funky.

WebDev, FireBug, AdBlock, and FireGestures.

Oh, I really hope it isn't FireGestures. I'll cry

Actually, that's happening to me too. I've found that when viewing YouTube it won't play videos sometimes. I figured it wasn't my comp when in Safari, Opera and IE were playing videos okay.

Used to annoy me. It's been okay recently though.

My firefox 3 has been running smooth, but I'm not using a single add on. It's a bone stock out of the box install.

Mine crashes when I use Facebook to write on someone's wall ... every single time ... the message gets sent, and then it crashes ... I have quickly uninstalled a few add-ons to see what happens.

Haha ... success ... it now works.

I guess there are problems with FF latest updates. I'd updated last night and ever since it keeps closing, closing...closing.

I assume there are no solutions to this yet, are there?

I guess they are still working on fixing Firefox 3... Hopefully they do that soon.

I don't have any problems with it yet as I don't have it but I might upgrade later on... seems like it has good features on it...

Either that, or I will wait until my Firefox tells me that there is a newer version and installed Firefox 3 on it's own...

I too get the message very frequently.
Maybe its because of add ons or google toolbar

I jest, I use firefox 3 and haven't had any troubles. I'm running XP with Adblock Plus, Download Statusbar & Net Usage Item.

I think you may have been right about that. I uninstalled PicLens on my computer at work and haven't experienced a crash yet.

Its funny how people blame FF for crashing, when they have their computer loaded up with all these other 3rd party add-ons and toolbars, etc... not to mention viruses, and spyware.
The first thing I do if I see a computer with a browser presenting any kind of problem like this, is disable all addons, and toolbars, and run Hitman Pro.

I have never seen that message either.

I'm pretty sure at this point that PicLens was causing the problem. I haven't encountered any crashes since I uninstalled it.

It isn't supposed to be the PicLens, it could be one of the factors I think. New / old?, FF can't seem to take up many installed items in it (plugins?). The reason my crashed last week was I had the Java on and it crashed on and on, now that I'm not using Java it is fine.
