Forum as frontpage

I want my forum to be the frontpage of my site but when I install the files to the main directory. They are not accessible? How can I make the forums my frontpage?

you could just make an index page with one frame and link that frame to whatever page you want.

How are they not accessible. Are you receiving errors?
