Is it my imagination or has the word "webmaster" been taken off the forum title graphic?

Put it back!!! It was my only justification for using the site at work lol

I thought I was going senile once today already...but the header looks the same to me as it always has ( since there has been no winner for the logo contest since April...*hint *hint)...

This is the logo I see at 1024x 768:

If you're on 800x600 resolution you'll see this one:

BWM set up a javascript to determine the res and place the graphic accordingly so you don't have to scroll left and right in the forum.

headaches using what resolution?! I get a headache doing any kind of work in 1024x768! Just no room, even on a 17", especially in photoshop, my parent's don't seem to get that tho, think my eyes will go bad soon enough if I keep using this resolution...

heh, I like mine right at 1280x1024 (17" monitor), but I do on occasion move over to 1600x1200 when I need more desktop room.

my 17" doesn't support 1600x1200, so I stick with 1280x1024.

I have mine at 1280x1024 too on my 17 inch lcd monitor. If i put it at 800x600 its like GIGANTIC. Icons are huge and I could read it probably from 10 rooms away. 1280x1024 suits me good.

I got me a manufacturing defective monitor on a nice deal 4-5 years ago for $120, and I still use it today: Gateway VX700 17".

Minus some little scratch on the glass (which I never notice), I've gotten the monitor up to 1900x1440. It's a great monitor.

Most graphics cards support WAY higher than most monitors go, so it's VERY rare to come accross a system that is limited by the graphics card and not the monitor.

As for being able to read the screen at 1600x1200, it's as b_heyer says, young eyes. That and my vision is perfect, I have eagle eyes, heh.

well, i keep my res at 1280x1024, and i am on a 17'' SyncMaster 750s
i like my monitor, the only part of my pc that has never gone wrong ;)
but i have only managed that res with my girlfriend fx5200, and it can go higher, but i darn't :P
i checked and it manages 1600*.... can't remember lol but it manages it but the monitor i doubt will go any higher ;)

I like how you can have really huge resolutions, but if the monitor isn't capable of it, windows lets you scroll from one end of the screen to the other.
