hello i now this can be a very elementary question but...

i made a website consisting in a personality test where the results can be copied and pasted in forums, guestbooks etc

i forget it for almost a year but a few days ago i checket it and it stay in the top ten of google searchs and receiving abut 50-100 visits a day ,not a grat think but not bad having in mind that i didn promote the site.

the problem is that iits hosted in lycos tripod for free and have no own domain of course, i have bought a domain name but as i have no own IP i have to forward the domain to the lycos page

i have two doubs about this matter

1) i suposse i need temporary forwarding better than permanent forwarding. if i made permanet forwarding the site will disapear of search engines top lists. am i wrong?

2) if i change the internal links of my site. will it also damage my position?

Sorry for my bad english. ty in advance

Are you receiving your traffic mostly from a certain search engine? Or a bunch of random places?

How do you know you are getting that traffic then? Put some kind of tracker on the website so you know if you are indeed getting the traffic and where they are coming from. At that point you can determine what to do next.

If it is indeed coming from a search engine like Google, you could put rel=nofollow tags on your links if you want to add a bunch more:

Code: [ Select ]
<a href="http://www.ozzu.com/" rel="nofollow">Link</a>

That wait you wouldn't get penalized by adding the links if the search engine reads that tag (like Google).
