Frames or Iframes

which do you feel is better?

I love frames, Iframes annoy me

neither!

I would have to say neither as well. If I had to choose iframes or frames though, I would probably choose iframes.

However frames are tacky, and I would do everything in my power to force myself to make a site without frames. I do not like them.

frames, like everything else in the web design world, can be used
effectively in the right cases. I use frames when my design necessitates
their use to preserve the look I want.

I use both whenever I need to, but since the question is about a choice,
I would say frames. I think they're most useful to me, in terms of design,
and iframes' function can be worked around.

I am willing to bet however, you could design the exact same design without frames or iframes Unflux. That is just a choice you make.

if you see, the header is in flash and has an animation intro to it. If I
didn't use frames, it would load and reload on every page, and that
wouldn't look good to me. Plus, it would be really annoying to the visitor.

In most cases, I agree with you, and could be made without them.

I am pretty sure you could use cookies as an alternative so that the movie doesn't go over and over on the introduction on each frame since it would remember it already played. I see your point though, but there are still alternatives. Frames is probably a good approach in that case. I probably would have still avoided them though.
