freeware media player with many audio settings

do you know any free media player (except WMP) that has a lot of EQ settings (ex. rock, pop, classical) and sorround sound modes (ex. Q Surround, Matrix Surround)?

I like winamp. You can customize the equalizer and save all the settings you like. I don't think it comes with many presets out of the 'box', but then I've never tried to download that, because I don't usually mess with the equalizer, but you certainly can.

No clue about the surround sound modes though.
