Anyone been keeping up with this story going around about the FTC getting ready to go after bloggers who lie about products in order to sell them and get a commission, and bloggers who don't disclose they got the unit they're reviewing for free ?

Cracking down on commission chasers who flat out lie in order to make a sale I understand, but not disclosing you got something for free; come on.

Case in point, if someone gives me a turd I'm going to tell you it's a turd whether you charged me for it or not. I don't want a turd, so why would I tell everyone it's something great if I wouldn't even want to keep it and use it ?

Why don't the crack down on MAC salesman who tell prospective customers that MACs can't get a virus?
How do you know when a politician is lying? His mouth is moving.

Because it's easier to monitor blogs than brick and mortar stores and the scale of the problem is easier to measure ?
Strong with this one, the sudo is.
