some of the basic answers to this post were posted here

Name: Brian
Age: 26
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Brown

I just recently graduated from college with Magna come Laude Honors and a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Flight Technology and minoring in Computer Science.

I am located in the Seattle area and have lived here my entire life. Some of my hobbies include flying, hiking, working out, tennis, golf and throwing the ball for my dogs. I have gone skydiving once.

As far as computers and the internet my biggest interests are programming and networking. I am fluent with HTML, JavaScript, C/C++ and PERL and understand the Linux systems well, my favorite being Redhat.

At this time of this writing my current project is a large traffic manager script called DVTS which is to help report numerous traffic statistics and the managing of incoming and outgoing traffic and to help automate many of the tasks a webmaster does to bring traffic to their site.

1. What's the story behind your love of flying?

Well it all goes back to my childhood where my best friend's dad was a professional pilot for Alaska Airlines. I am not really sure what fascinated me about it but things went from there. Unfortunately it wasn't until the end of college that I realized I did not want to be a professional pilot, as there was way too much studying, tests, and stress for me. So now I just fly for a hobby, as that type of flying is very peaceful and the views are incredible. I would have to say flying in the early morning is the most enjoyable as turbulence is usually non existent and everything seems so calm and peaceful. Here is a picture of Mt Rainier I took a few years back when I was flying (I also entered this picture in the landscape competition):

2. Tell us about your new home.

My new home is still being built. I looked around for months, I would say I probably looked harder and longer than most people out there. I finally decided on a pre-sale because for what I got it was the best deal overall in my opinion. The house is 4060 square feet, has a 30x10 foot deck, and is three levels with many windows and views on the backside (daylight basement). The master bedroom takes up most of the top floor, has a fireplace, and extensive tile work in the bathroom. I do not have much land, but that is because it is view property. Here is a picture I took the other day:

3. How many websites do you own?

Well my Godaddy account shows I have 28 domains, but I am partners on many other websites including unflux.net, pixelex.com, getfreefonts.com, racechase.com, and more.

4. What was the inspiration behind OZZU?

One day I was thinking, you know I really should make some websites devoted to what I am good at. That would make sense wouldn't it? I started Ozzu because I felt comfortable in many aspects of the webmaster area and I figured why not share my knowledge with others. Also I knew by creating such a community I could expand my knowledge since there is so much to learn out there. I do not think I will ever stop learning and I think Ozzu is a perfect environment for myself, and others to learn as much as they want.

5. What do you do when you lose a tennis match?

Who said I lose? :) - Well in the rare event that I do lose it usually ruins my day because I am extremely competitive and I like to win. However I am a good sport about it and if I lose my opponent definitely deserves the win. So what do I do? I suck it up and wait for my next match to serve some aces.

6. Married? Single? Looking? Spoken For, Other? (I think some lady members here find you attractive *lol - sorry had to do it)

I am currently single. Ladies call me if you want a date ;)

7. Favorite programming language, and why?

I would have to say PERL, probably only because I have used this language the most and am therefore really comfortable with it. After that I would say PHP, and then C++.

8. Where's Assneck? And how's he doing?

Adam? He is doing fine. I think he still stops in here from time to time. He no longer lives up in the Seattle area by me, he lives down in Texas now. We still talk almost every day. I will usually beat him at Splinter Cell on the Xbox, or C&C Tiberian Sun online as well.

9. If you could change one thing in this world, what would it be?

Hmm that is a hard question. There are so many problems out there that I wish nobody had to face. I wish everyone had a chance to succeed in life and have the same opportunities that I have had.

10. What was your best poker hand?

My best hand would be a straight flush. I was very close to a Royal Flush once, but I was one card off.

11. What do you like to drink? (if you do)

I do not drink that often. I only drink on social occasions or if I am with a group of friends. Jack and Coke, or Tangere and Tonic are always good in my book.

12. Type of music you like?

Everything for the most part, but not really country. Maybe a few songs here and there. I would say I like R&B, Rap, and Hip Hop the most.

13. Type of movies you like?

Action, thrillers, comedy.

14. The thing your most thankful for?

I think I would have to say my family. Without them I would definitely not be where I am today.

15. How do you make your living?

I am a businessman. I make the majority of the money from the Internet, particularly from advertising sales.

16. How old are you?

At this moment I am 26, born on January 17, 1979.

17. What formal education do you have?

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Flight Technology and a minor in Computer Science. I received Magna come Laude Honors. I first went to a community college for two years and after that finished up at a University. My grade point average in high school was around 3.7 and in college around 3.85.

18. Favourite Operating System?

Well that depends on the situation. For servers and administration I would say Linux by far (particularly Redhat). But when it comes to regular computer usage I would say Windows XP.

19. Current Computer Spec? (if more than one, note the one you use the most)

I need to upgrade, and have been meaning to build myself a new computer for a long time now. The one I currently have I built back in 2001. It is an AMD Athlon clocked down to 900 mhz (its actually 1.2 Ghz but its unstable there now), with 1 GB of Kingston PC800 (I think). For the video card I have a Nvidia GeForce 3 64 Megs. I have about 4 hard drives, the biggest being 300 gigs. I have other computers around here, a well as the old server I used to run for my sites when I colocated them in the past.

20. Favourite fruit?

Strawberries

21. Is Webdesign a hobby? or job?

Both. It actually started out more as a hobby, now I make a living off of it.

22. What is your earliest childhood memory?

My earliest childhood memory is attended pre-school when I was three. I remember sitting at a table with some crayons and paper.

23. Where have you travelled to outside of your native country?

This one is not too impressive. The only other country I have been to has been Canada. To be honest I really have not travelled that much in the United States as well. I do plan to change that though, I would like to travel to more places in my country, Mexico, Australia, and maybe a few places in Europe one day.

24. Pepsi or coke?

Definitely Pepsi.

25. If you could change careers, what would you do and why?

I love what I do. Do I have to change careers? If I had to I could always fall back on piloting airplanes, but I think I would prefer that to be a hobby.

26. Did you have a good Thanksgiving meal?

Absolutely. I had seconds too.

27. What is your ideal form of transportation?

Teleportation.

28. What is your all time favourite Music band?

Good question, I am not sure I really have an all time favorite. Right now I really do like Black Eyed Peas. I like many of the songs they sing.

29. Music type - Rock/Pop/Rap/Dance/Other?

I could have sworn I answered this one already, but yes, I like all of the ones you listed. Pretty much everything I like except some country.

30. If you could learn any language which would it be and why?

Farsi, so I could understand what Adam says when he speaks it.

31. Fave make & model of car?

Hmmm, the 2006 Mercedes Benz S600 looks really nice. Want to help me out there?

32. What is your favourite month of the year?

End of July.

33. Are flavah and myself gonna get banned for asking too many questions?

The thought did actually occur to me. I may just be changing both of your rank titles soon to something more appropriate.

34. Have you ever had any stupid haircuts you regret having?

Yes I have.

35. Glass Half full, or Half Empty?

Definitely half full.

36. God or no god?

God.

37. Love at first site?

Um probably not. Maybe lust at first sight though ;)

38. Wet your pants till what age?

I don't think I ever did. I was born ready to go.

39. Any Sad stories you may have.

When I was really small, probably around 5 or 6 I had this small stuffed elephant by the name Elphy. I forgot Elphy in a public restroom somewhere and when we came back he was gone forever. I was very sad and devastated.

40. Are the ozzu members trying to humiliate you? lol

Yes please see #39, and #38.

41. How did you manage to dodge a GTKY thread for this long?

I am not sure, but I think I will be making sure that all member names that start with a K and end with an A get their turn soon.

42. What do you do when noone is looking?

Well if there is a mirror nearby I will usually make really weird faces and stick out my tongue and scream. But I only do that if I am sure nobody is around, because that would be embarrassing if anybody ever knew I did that.

43. Whats your favorite movie?

When it comes to favorites I really do not keep a list handy. But off of my mind The Shawshank Redemption comes pretty quickly.

44. Did you go to your senior prom?

I didn't go, I was too busy scheming up Ozzu ;)

Is that it? Are we done?!

Just random question that came into my head. Serves no point at all...just taking advantage of questioning the owner of the site. Its not every day you get this opportunity :)

45. do you have any pets?

Yes, a black lab. Her name is Kobi. Had a great dane too, but she passed away a few months ago

46. When do you plan to retire and live off your "millions"? ($$$)

I have no idea, but if you could lend me a couple million I might consider retiring next month.

47. I notice your an XBOX game player. What would you say is your favourite game for the console?

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Basically all of the Splinter Cells are high on my list.

48. And were you queueing up outside your local Walmart at 5am to get an XBox360?

You crazy? I was sleeping at that time. I can wait patiently :)

49. Do you have any other consoles?

I do not, but I have had Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, and the first regular Nintendo. Also Sega Genesis.

50. When did you start to drive?

Fifteen and a half, unless you count the times I drove when I was around twelve or thirteen that I wasn't supposed to be.

51. (i already know this from racechase but...) what kind of car do you drive?

2001 Acura TL 3.2

52. You say you enjoy flying in your spare time...how often do you fly?

I used to fly everyday, but to be honest I have kind of put that hobby on hold for awhile because I have so many things going on, plus it is not a cheap hobby. It has been a few years since I last flew. I plan to get back into here eventually.

53. How big an aircraft can you fly?

The biggest I have flown is multi-engine aircraft. I cannot remember the weight offhand.

54. Do you have a preferred aircraft?

No, but the aircraft I have flown the most are: Cessna 152, Cessna 172, Piper Archer, Piper Warrior, Piper Arrow, Piper Seneca

55. How far would you fly?

The farthest I have flown is from Seattle to San Francisco. The flight took seven hours one way with a short stop at Medford, Oregon to refuel. It is definitely cheaper and faster to take a major airline :)

56. Who is the next GTKY victim?

I haven't decided yet, but pretty much everyone who asked a question in this thread are prime targets.

57. What's the first thing you say when you wake up in the morning

Yawnnnnnnnnn. That alarm clock is going into the trash.

58. What was the last thing you put in your mouth?

Spicy chicken teriyaki.

59. Tell us about the last movie you watched.

The last movie I watched was Meet the Fockers.

60. If you were planning your wedding, would you plan a lavish one or a small intimate one.

Small intimate one.

61. You run into a genie on the road and he agrees to grant you *any* 3 wishes. What would they be?

Oh man, anything? My first wish would be that I would never have to worry about money again, meaning I would be extremely rich. I could then help lots of families/people out and do random things like give away money while walking down the street just to see the looks on people's faces. My second wish would be to have almost the perfect girl, both inside and out. My last wish would be to have 25 more wishes.

62. Fave physical feature of the opposite sex?

I would definitely have to say the right index finger. I mean cmon when you see a woman and her right index finger is perfect in so many ways how can you resist? Okay well hopefully you didn't think I was being serious (or was I?), this is actually a close decision for me because there are two areas I generally really like, but I am going to have to go with BREASTS.

63. What are you currently listening to?

Rihanna Pon De Replay

64. Do you have a fave article of clothing? If so, tell us about its sentimental value!

Yes, my socks. They keep my feet warm and that just makes me happy.

65. Name your top 5 pet peeves

My top five pet peeves in no particular order are: People who are close minded and will only accept their views of situations. Ignorant people. People who say they cannot do something even though they have made absolutely zero effort. People who cannot admit when they are wrong and continue to defend something as if they are right. And finally my last pet peeve are solicitors who come right to your door and or call on the phone during dinner or when you are doing something important.

66. What's in the trunk of your car?

Jumper Cables, spare tire, three tennis rackets, two cans of tennis balls, air pressure gauge, gloves, window scraper, a pile of cash, and a large box of diamonds.
