I recommend these albums, if you're lookin' for some good indie:

Moving Units - (Self-titled EP)
Built to Spill - Keep It Like a Secret
Mock Orange - Mind is Not Brain
Mock Orange - First EP
Sparta Locals - Second Fanfare
Sparta Locals - Sun, Sun, Sun
Number Girl - Num Heavy Metallic
Spoon - A Series of Sneaks
Spoon - Gimme Fiction
Of Montreal - Satanic Panic in the Attic

also....

Ratatat
Polysics
Experimental Dental School
Orange Terror Field [http://www.fortnightlysheep.com/orangeterrorfield]
Nero's Day At Disneyland [tough to find, try SoulSeek]

Sparta Locals, Polysics, Number Girl are all Japanese bands.... so so good.

Orange Terror Field is a friend of mine... I highly recommend you download the album "Moon Fight", it's available for free download at the website. He is the most talented song writer I know... inspired by Brian Eno.... similar sound to Ratatat, but wrote many of these songs before they became known.... but really, such an analogy does not do him justice, download the album and listen for yourself.

There's so much more to list, but I'll stop myself. :-)
