Whoever said Ladytron..They're probably my absolute FAVOURITE that has those kinds of beats.
So I will post mine, and what I'm looking for is something with music similar to Ladytron cause I'm kind of in this certain music phase :)
A few of these are known to be a different type of genre, but none the less - They are good! & my friends still don't know who the hell a lot of these bands are (sad really, I should choose better friends) :D

(Had a lot of time to alphabetize - according to first letters excluding 'The')

+44 - Make You Smile, Cliff Diving
The All-American Rejects - Move Along, It Ends Tonight
Arctic Monkeys - I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor
Beck - Girl
Belle & Sebastian - Act of the Apostle I, The Blues are Still Blue, Fiction
Broken Social Scene - Stars and Sons, Lover's Spit, Backyards
Death Cab For Cutie - Someday You Will Be Loved
Emily Haines - Doctor Blind, The Maid Needs a Maid
Franz Ferdinand - The Fallen (!)
Frou Frou - Let Go
Goo Goo Dolls - Better Days
Hellogoodbye - Touchdown Turnaround, Baby It's Fact, Call N' Return
H.I.M - a friend recommended the band - In Joy and Sorrow, Gone with the Sin, Funeral of Hearts
Hot Hot Heat - Ladies & Gentlemen, Pickin' It Up
Keane - Frog Prince, Somewhere Only We Know
The Killers - All these things I've Done, Change Your Mind, Read My Mind
Ladytron - absolutely LOVE this song -> [Fighting In Built Up Areas], Discotraxx, Playgirl, The Way That I Found You (sorry I love a lot of songs by them)
Liquido - For their one hit wonder I suppose - Narcotic
Metric - The List, Glass Ceiling, Rock Me Now (If you have decent base :? )
Millencolin - Ray, Kemp, Penguins & Polar Bears (I'm into the older stuff)
Mobile - Dusting Down the Stars
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
The Raconteurs - Steady As She Goes
Rooney - I'm Shakin'
Sloan - Rest of My Life
Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars
The Strokes - On The Otherside, Red Light, 12:51, The End Has No End (lots of songs) I recommend getting the album - First Impressions of Earth
System of a Down - Vicinity of Obscenity, Lonely Day, Revenga
Taking Back Sunday - Liar, Number Five with a Bullet, Make Damn Sure
Weezer - Perfect Situation

Once again, If you have anything that sounds similar to ANY of Ladytron songs or so, please do tell, and I am also looking for a nice band that's got good vocals and a good guitarist in it. Thanks much.

If you haven't heard of moe., you should seriously check them out. They've been touring together for 15 years, and have a sound that can be best described as a mix of classic rock, metal, and country (if that makes any sense at all!)

I just got finished with seeing them play 5 nights in a row in a brand new venue in New York City. They didn't repeat a single song from their extensive catalog, and everyone there had a great time.

Because they're proud of their live performances, they support the free distribution of all of their shows. Check out this one, its one of the best from the past year or so:

wow there are a ton of good bands listed. But some actual new bands are:

Family Force Five

And in the old Category (old being over two years):
My chemical Romance
The Postal Service ->mentioned on several lists, amazing album
evanescence
Panic! at the disco
third eye blind
Green day (older albums better in my option)
Plain White T's (yes they are old, their album was released in 2005).
Rammstein -> german band listen to "Amerika" on youtube
