I've signed up for there updates newsletter. Maybe I can get in early and land a decent address. I always fancied burntpostman@hotmail.com!

Anyone see Conan talking about this on the Late Show. Some kind of joke dealing with the scanning of the emails.

Yeah, I figure it will probably be a few months after the release to work out all the bugs. Do you know if they are going to allow you to delete any of the email....I am assuming they are not that is why they are offering all that space

Im really open to anything. I probably won't use it for very sensitive material, but if I need a gig of space and don't want to burn it to 2 cd-r's, this will work great.

I don't get it. How is this different from how they determine what ads are relevant on sites using Adsense or even what results to display on their SERPs.

Anyhow, if people don't like it.. then like Calendae said. Don't use it. If no one will use their service. It will either change or die.

Internet search company Google Inc. is considering changes to its Gmail e-mail service amid criticism over privacy concerns... really?

ok, how about this, you get 1 bit of inbox space and no email-scanning ads, or you get 1 gig of inbox space and email scaning ads...

this is pathetic! i repeat my earlier statement! if you dont like it, DONT USE IT!
