1. Tell us about your employment situation, has it changed since your last GTKY?

It's still the same. I still work as a system administrator for Alaron Corporation - http://www.alaron-nuclear.com

2. Have your future plans changed since the last GTKY?

Not really all that much, no, however, when they open the new casino in Pittsburgh, I'm tempted to apply for a part time position doing security surveillance.

3. Tell us where you live.

Still north of Pittsburgh, although I've moved locally since last GTKY thread and now actually reside in Beaver Falls, PA, which some of the old timers may associate with Joe Namath. I live 3 blocks to the right of the river in these pictures:
http://www.punctumsaliens.ch/workshop/000_0119.jpg
http://www.punctumsaliens.ch/workshop/000_0136.jpg

4. Explain to those who might not know, the meaning behind your nickname.

ATNO == A True Night Owl / TW == The Webmaster. A compilation of the acronyms of my two oldest internet handles.

5. Do you still spend just as much time on OZZU as a MOD as you did when you first became a member (before MOD status)?

It's never changed much, and I still read nearly every post at OZZU except the test board, the posting games board and the reviews board. I'm on track to hit 20k posts by my 5th year anniversary.

6. Give us your living arrangements. (do you live with roommates, alone, in a dorm, with family, etc)

I live alone with my cat, Paxy, in a secluded 2 story, 3 bedroom house.

7. What is your absolute favorite meal or restaurant?

Too many to list. I love all kinds of food and been to many good restaurants. If I really had to pick one, probably the prime rib at K.C. Masterpiece restaurant in Kansas City.

8. Who is your hero?

Same answer as first GTKY:
Quote:
My dad. He died from the effects of Parkinson's disease last year on December 30th. In spite of the disease, he never did anything but give of himself to help others until he took his last breath. That's what I want to be like.

9. Finish this sentence "My life's motto is..."

"If you don't get what you want in life, you'll have exactly what you deserve."

10. Tell us something about your self that we might find surprising.

I do Crewel Embroidery for relaxation:

11. Spam us. Give us a few sites you think we should visit.

http://www.boastingrights.com Also if you like BBQ you might enjoy my best friend's website: http://www.pittpiratebbq.com and catch some of his video tutorials at monkeysee.com http://www.monkeysee.com/video/watch/2199

My Axe:

18. Any useless talents? (double jointed, tongue can touch nose, great animal noises imitations, etc)

Not really, no.

19. What time is it right now?

Relative to what?

20. If you could have ONE super power, what would it be and why?

Be a "babe magnet".

Why?

That should be obvious *lol.

21. What did you do over the Easter weekend?

Set up my guitar, amp and effects for the first time in 10 years and actually played it, started rummaging through 13 years of "stuff" and began throwing things out, did laundry, played online poker, watched all three movies of the Matrix back to back, watched some NCAA March Madness, grilled some kick arse deer steaks and had Easter dinner with family.

22. What are you most afraid of?

Dying alone.

23. what is the square root of 59432227?

7709.229987489023

Cat - see above.

26. In three words, describe an object from the room you're in right now.

Snowy white owl.

TV Show - Emeril Live. Movie - The Matrix (entire series)

28. Pet peeves. We all have them. What are some of yours?

People that go all in pre-flop at "free" internet Hold 'Em poker. Deer that can't leave my corn and apple trees alone.

For real documents, MS Word. For web design, HTML-Kit.

Windows.

Been using Windows since 3.1 (although I did learn DOS 6.22 after the fact as well).

39. What Ozzu member would you most likely buy a beer for?

Bigweb. He's been a great bud for as long as I've been here and would really get a kick out of hooking up with him someday. Practically speaking, I'd have the best chance of actually meeting UNFLUX, grinch or spork as they are regionally close to me. In fact UNFLUX and I came really very close to hooking up when he was designing my company's current website. Don't know why we never did. We should have.

40. What's your favorite season/time of the year, and why?

Spring. Part of some song lyrics I wrote as a kid somewhat answer the why:
Quote:
Seasons of the year every one of us observe.
Life begins to die in the fall.
Winter brings her cold and buries deep with in her bones
The life that Spring brings back again to all.

(I also love to garden as a hobby and spring brings that back for me).

For me it was "Fish". I was a rather good swimmer in high school.

I ended up back here to finish answering this silly thread *lol.

"The first", of course. What? There was more than one?

The original Numa Numa Dance video
For other variants check here http://www.boastingrights.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1564

48. If 3 x 5 = 17, and 6 x 4 = 30, what is 9 x 9?

9 x 9 = 81. Whoever answered the first two doesn't know how to do math.

54. How many have you won?

55. Favorite book?

The Bible.

56. What's the strangest thing you've encountered on the internet?

Gaining a best friend. I met and have known my best friend via the internet over 12 years ago and never met each other until just a couple years ago.

Why?

Never dreamed the internet would provide me such a close friend.

57. Grab a book nearest to you right now, and turn to page 31. What's the sentence on line 4 ?

A best practice is to create a new policy and modify the default policy.

58. How honest are you ? Rate ( 1 - 10 ) 1 least honest & 10 most honest

9

59. Have you ever been suspected as a criminal by the police?

Any special reasons ?

Satriani - best guitarist in the world.; Sean Connery - best actor in the world

61. Your all-time least favorite aftists ( music & movie )

Really can't answer that.

Any special reasons ?

Because if I don't like an artist, I chose not to know anything about them and that includes not remembering their names. If I don't remember their names, I don't like them.

Click.

as of this post 48. Turn 49 July 21.

65. What do you do?

Considering my answer to 67 (below), I'd prefer this question be worded "Do I like my job?" in which case the answer is "Absolutely love it".

67. How would you define "work" as in general, in your own vocabulary?

Anything that I don't have fun doing I consider work.

68. The world now has only you and another friend/person. Days..weeks...went by with no food & water. Will you eat him to survive? if it can help you to last without foods and water for another 1 year so you can figure out a way to live....

This question has flaws. If it has already been weeks without food and water, I would already be on the brink of death if not already dead. At that point, I would most likely not have the strength to kill them assuming of course they are not already dead as well. And in the unlikely event that I could, 1 person would not be enough for sustenance for another year, not to mention, water would still be an issue.

69. Have you ever played "Beer-Pong"?

lmoa, No. Actually had to look it up because I never heard of it, but it looks like fun.

70. If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be and for what reason?

I took a little extra time to answer these questions because I wasn't sure how I was going to answer this. My first impulse was to say my girlfriend, but I have frequent dinners with her and plan to have many more. I guess you can add another .5 to the "How honest are you" question above on this one. I suspect many are waiting with great anticipation which celebrity or famous person I'm going to say, and hope you aren't disappointed with the answer. The person I would most like to have dinner with -- is Carol Kozlovich. For what reason? Because I remember coffee and a rose and Disneyland and 2AM walks. I remember a note on her refrigerator that said "If you don't get what you want in life you'll have exactly what you deserve." I remember polishing off a bottle of Vodka in a jacuzzi one balmy California evening when the Collins mix was gone. I remember kicking up sand crabs with our toes on a California beach. I remember her hand over mine on the stick shift of her Honda Prelude (which she was letting me drive *grins). I remember a dinner at Piccolo Mondo's and an afternoon in Ft.Lauderdale. I remember an incredible weekend in Key West. And mostly I remember that I don't know where she is or if she is still alive and I'd love to have dinner with her again for no other reason than to look in her eyes and know that she lives and is happy. And I'd like to have the chance to ask her one very simple question. "Who is John Galt?"

71. how big is the screen you are working on right now (inches)?

15" notebook screen

72. Which languages do you know besides English?

I took three years of Latin in high school. I think with a Latin to English dictionary in my hand I could still translate respectably. I know a few words and phrases in Spanish, but that's about it.

73. In which other countries except your own have you been?

Canada and Mexico

74. What are you going to call your Island?

My Dream

If I recall correctly, that one is actually related, but not the right one. I'm certain I could find the right one if I wanted to. However, it would probably be in my best in my best interest not to. I don't think my girlfriend would be very happy about that *lol.

I hate math and refuse to answer any additional math questions. If I wanted to be an engineer I would have paid attention in algebra and trig.

79. Describe the worst electrical shock you've ever received.

When I was a young kid (prior to my electronics class in high school), I decided my DC powered transistor radio would work better on AC if I plugged it into a wall outlet (wouldn't have to keep buying batteries). So I stripped a couple wires, attached them to the battery leads and plugged them into the wall outlet. My fingers had a couple slight burns, but my radio didn't survive.

80. You're about to die, but you have the choice to burn or drown. Which would you choose?

drown.

81. Name three reasons why Browns fans are better than Steelers fans.

a) Browns fans are far more experienced at losing and they handle it better.
b) Browns fans are uglier than Steelers fans which makes them easier to spot in a crowd.
c) Browns fans (unlike Michael Vic fans) are more tolerant of illegal activities, and therefore don't turn us over to the authorities when we beat 52 dogs.

82. So you didn't pay attention in algebra and trig. What courses did you pay attention in when you were gettin' edumacated?

all the rest of them.

83. If you weren't in your current profession, what other unrelated profession would you be interested in pursuing? (No web design answers.)

Bartending in a strip club.

84. Have you read the books "1984" and/or "A Brave New World", and, if so, which did you think was better?

I haven't read either.

85. Do you even listen to the radio? Describe the local radio stations where you live.

I enjoyed the radio stations in many other places (particularly Texas) much better than here. Locally I only listen to two stations. A country station Froggy Country 98.5 FM, Oil City, PA, and the morning talk show on KDKA 1020 AM, Pittsburgh PA while driving to work. For those that didn't know KDKA was the first radio station in the US. I can't comment on any others.

I personally own three. One I built myself when I took an 8 month course on Networking. I also have an old server from work at home that I use for rendering landscape animations. My best specs and one I use the most is my work notebook. I custom ordered it and it wasn't cheap.

87. what would the perfect girl look like?

My daughter. And no, you aren't getting a picture.

88. give us a limerick on the topic: ozzu

If I got stuck in OZZU
I think this is what I would do
I'd answer some posts
While munching some toast
And sipping some hot coffee too.

89. Have you ever played audiosurf, and if you have, which song did you find the toughest?

Never heard of it until this question. No, never played it and most likely never will. I'm not much of a gamer.

90. When you google "*your name got* arrested for" what is the first result you get?

"Your search - "{my name} got arrested for" - did not match any documents. "

91. what is your ozzu password?

My OZZU password is BackDore90210 (refer to answer 58)

92. WHich movie that you have seen, made you think the most afterwards? (for example, for me it was "butterfly effect")

Tough to answer that one honestly. I'm not a big movie watcher. Nothing comes to mind. Guess that's because I watch a movie, I either enjoy it or I don't for it's entertainment value, then never give it any thought afterwards.
If I really had to pick one, it would probably be Patriot Games.
