There was much greater opportunity for work out here for me. To be 17 years old in England and try and work in business development is unheard of, No company would give you the opportunity.

I had a company in the states who were interested in my ideas and offered to help me move. They helped me with my house, my education.... everything. It would have been very difficult to say no.

I left all my family and friends back in England though. Thats probably the worst thing about the whole move.

aww. how do your parents feel about your success? Are they in a similar business (since you're still quite young, I was just wondering if you were influenced by them at an early age)?

My mom and dad run their own company, I guess having seen them build it from the ground up and then expand, It did influence me in what Im trying to do now yes :)

They didn't really want me to move out here. i think the path for me, in their eyes was going to be working with them. But sometimes you have to do whats right for you.

Very interesting answers. I can see why they moved you here, you're an all around smart cookie :) (the search algo was rather unexpected, then again..)

Since the hurricane has left me with pages of unread posts so I'll have to pick this up later but for now I leave you with this question,
If nobody ever told you what the stars in the sky really were, what would you think they are ?

Wow ... you know, I have never really thought about it.......

Id love to give a deep answer here like thier our loved ones who have passed away watching down on us............

But if I was really honest - I'd probably think they are telescopes reflecting off the sun. And really we are being watched some like some kind of conservation project for our superior beings. :P
