Sweetness! Me...my favorite subject.

1. I can't remember how I found ozzu, it seems like I was searching around for a perl forum or something like that.

2. You've never been to Nebraska have you? It's not so bad here, its just really plain and drab and the whole cowboy mentality just doesn't do it for me. I get to my aunt and uncles in the NW corner of Montana every year and a half or so and the people there are just so much more enjoyable.

3. Network Specialist I since March of 2007. I actually started working here (City of North Platte) as my internship for college before I graduated and my boss never told me to leave, so here I am.

4. I had a few too many jagger bombs on halloween, and went fishing on Saturday, did laundry and celebrated my parent's neighbor's birthday yesterday.

5. The most embarrassing recent thing was about a month ago at work. Long story - over my lunch break I got pulled over for doing 40 in a 25 mile an hour zone and got a speeding ticket. I went back to work and the IT lady from the police department called to ask if I was done setting up the cell phone internet connection and vpn on a toughbook to put in the police cars. I was, so she sent a police officer over to get the laptop, and wouldn't you know it was the very same one that pulled me over not even 20 minutes before. So I turned all bright red and everything right out in the front area where about 10 people work, and they noticed and had to make fun of me for getting all red faced because a cop came to visit me. It wasn't funny then, but it is now.

6. My profile is kind of out dated. I gave up on the whole jave thing, I just couldn't stay focused on it.

7. My interwebs time varies from day to day, sometimes I only spend enough time to check email and other days (like today) I spend lots of time. I have bad posture, so if I spend too much time in front of the computer my neck starts getting stiff.

8. My hero...probably a mix between Carl Sagan and Red Green. Sagan is a deceased astronomer and astrophysicist, and Green is a tv show character from Canada. There just cool dudes, I kind of wish I was either of them some times.

9. "My ideal life partner is " a complicated thing. I've dated animal lovers, punk rockers, and artists. All of them had traits that are awesome, so take those traits and put them into one lady and she would be perfect.

10. Just last night I started reading Guerilla Warfare by Che Gueverra. It's been a good month or so since I read any other books. I like adventure type of books and those scary political and socio-economical books too, like 1984 and another called The Turner Diaries. That last was written by a white supremacist, and it eventually led up to being the inspiration and almost step by step directions for when Timothy McVeigh bombed the building in Oklahoma City. Someone once gave me a bumper sticker that says "I READ BANNED BOOKS".

12. KC0TMA (thats a zero not an O) is my ham radio call sign. I'm a general class amateur radio operator, and one of the last few American's who had to learn morse code to earn their license. It's fun, I've talked to people in South America and Western Europe on the radio.

13. I've got last.fm going, right now the song is Picture Perfect by someone called 10 Years. I've never heard them before, but I like them.

14. To my immediate right is a dinosaur old server with an external tape drive on top of it, and a laptop briefcase leaning against it. Pretty boring office......

15. My height is five feet, fine inches tall. Pretty short really, but I'm taller than my sister and my parents.

16. I like beer a little too much, and turkey jerky. I like Captain Black pipe tobacco too.

17. Thats a tough one, we'll have to get scientific. Sharks have a lot more teeth, and salt water would really hurt getting into a big wound like that. But lions hunt in groups so there would be more than one. I think I'd take the shark because I hear they will just nibble you then let you go it you don't fight back. But that doesn't really answer your question though.

18. My right thumb pops whenever I move it around. I don't know why, it just has always done that and I can use it to gross people out.

19. A few days ago I watched a boot leg copy of Alone in the Wilderness, the Dick Proennekke story. It was kind of my inspiration to keep searching for work in the mountains to get out of this place.

20. Two things tie for this one. The first is falling to my death. I'm not afraid of heights or anything, but thats just not how I want to go. At work we have a wireless metropolitan area network, and a few of the antennas and stuff are up towers and from time to time I have to climb them. The highest is only 72 feet, but whenever I go up and down them my knees are always shaking. My second fear is drowning. I've had to swim through a few nasty rapids when things didn't go as planned in my canoe and have taken more water in my lungs than I care to, that isn't fun either.

21. I've got some fish, but I'm waiting for them to die off so I can give away that fish tank. I also have an orange tabby cat named Sierra, but she doesn't get to live with my because my stupid apartment complex charges an extra $50 a month on rent for cats, so my kitty stays with my parents.

22. My favorite local restaurant is La Hacienda. They are cheap and give lots of food and have good margeritas. And I like Lazlo's & Empyrian Brewery in Lincoln, NE. We go there every time we go to visit my sister, so that is what I get to do this weekend!!!

23. Mountains all the way. I've never been to the desert but I'm thinking about riding my motorcycle to New Mexico this spring if I'm still in Nebraska, and beaches are nice but the ones we went to in Hawaii in 1998 were just too crowded. But if you've ever been to Glacier National Park in Montana you'll understand my fixation with mountains.

24. I'm told Iceland is nice, so maybe I'd try there. I've been into Canada a couple times too but not enough to decide if I want to live there, but maybe.

25. Showers, they're faster and use less water.

26. I can do mornings or late nights. Its easy to stay up really late, but when my alarm rings in the morning I just get up and don't hit the snooze button or anything. Just get out of bed and get started with the day.

27. I'd take a small cabin in the county with no neighbors. My aunt and uncle in Montana live on their 60 acre chunk of land and their nearest neighbor is about a half mile away and that is just totally awesome.

28. Before I got on ozzu today I had to restore a couple of maps from backup for our engineering department that they messed up. Nothing exciting really.

29. Probably my hearing. Or maybe my sense of direction.

30. My birthday is November 13, just a few days away. I'll be 22 this year and I'm thinking of getting myself a new tattoo but I don't know what yet, something colorful.

Not long after at least two moderators on this site. I am losing count the amount of people i know who have a birthday in November. Early to mid November in particular seems to be the time of year people are being born.

I know. Already thought of that. Not a pleasant thought.

Thats really funny because I like to joke around that I was either a valentines day gift or a valentines day accident. Either way, November 13th is 9 months to the day after February 14th.

31. Not sure, all I know is that my mom woke up one morning and knew it was time to go to the hospital so she woke dad up and a few hours later I was born.

33. Favorite beer is Labbatt Blue, but it's a little pricey around here so I normally go with coors light or with some sort of unfiltered wheat beer

35. Not really, because they don't bounce. Rubber bouncy balls are so cool! But Carol the lady I share an office with has a plastic bag full of track balls in her desk though.

36. I have, and I've put tape over the laser on optical mice. I got myself into deep sh** with one lady in my office once because I rearranged a few buttons on her keyboard, man was she ever pissed!

38. At work we have a couple internet circuits. Our cool one is going away soon though because we are getting rid of our wireless network. Since we are only a block away from the office of one ISP we have a wireless link between here and there, and we tie straight into the backbone on their router, so they are giving us 10M up and 10M down for only $300 a month! That is less price than a T1 with about 6.5 times the bandwidth, and it is synchronous too (both upload and download at the same time)! The other circuits we have are 7M/768k and 1.5M/768k DSL circuits. At home I have a 1.5M DSL.

39. I can't remember the grossest thing, but there was one thing that made everybody who ate it sick though. My sister made this pork roast thing and must not have cooked it completely or something because everybody who ate it was in really bad shape the next day.

42. My friend that runs our homeless shelter grew up in Peru and he has all kinds of cool and exciting and even sad stories, so I think I'd visit there and explore around and see what there is to see. Maybe go up in the Andes or something.

43. I like the Kashi Cinammon Harvest cereal. Its kind of like frosted mini wheats, but without the frosting and kind of a sweet cinammon taste. No need for a bowl either, just grab a handful out of the box and munch on them.
