(Personally, I've been waiting a while for this one.)

When I read the Flash category, I pay very particular attention to what this victim has to say. I don't know many people with his skills or abilities. There's no doubt in my mind that he's a guru, through and through.

Let's get to know lostinbeta!!!

1. Tell us about your history with Flash.

2. Rock, punk, country, rap, or alternative? What bands?

3. What celebrity would you most want to meet/date/get friendly with?

4. Age?(if you dare or care to answer)

5. When you and your friends want to have fun, what do you do?

6. Tell us about where you live.

7. Your profile lists your occupations as, "F/T patient at the local Mental Institution". Care to elaborate? (School, work, what?)

8. Tell us about your first kiss.

9. Tell us about your best quality (real or imagined).

10. Who is your hero?

Please take your time, you've got a whole week to answer.

Alrighties... I tried to answer these the best I could :D

1. Tell us about your history with Flash.
Well I started Flashing around July 21st, 2002. I originally got the program because I was interested in Flash animation and I wanted to get into that. Well the codemonkey side of me ended up jumping out instead. I was absolutely horrible at the animation/design side, but I seemed to picked up ActionScript pretty smoothly. Of course, this is probably from my history with JavaScript (AS and JS are quite similar in many ways). Since then I have just kind of messed around with ActionScript and tried to improve upon my knowledge of that.

Oh yeah, and I can tell you for sure, that I am definitely no guru.

2. Rock, punk, country, rap, or alternative? What bands?
Rock, punk, alternative, emo, and experimental electronic music are typically what I listen to. Specific bands/artists that I love to listen to are...

    Nirvana
Hole/Courtney Love (yeah, I catch a lot of flack for this one)
    Weezer
    Foo Fighters
    System Of A Down
    Staind
    Everclear
    Aphex Twin
    Venetian Snares

The list could go on and on because I listen to such a wide variety of music and I have my favorites for each type.

3. What celebrity would you most want to meet/date/get friendly with?
Hugh Jackman (odd choice I know)
Take your pick on which one thats for ;)

Age?(if you dare or care to answer)
I am 19, going to be 20 in May.

5. When you and your friends want to have fun, what do you do?
We usually hang out at someones house. Either that or we head out to the movies together then do something afterwards. And on a rare occasion we head out to center city and hang out on South Street (the city hotspot of sorts). I guess it all depends on who i'm hanging out with. I have my close knit group of friends that I do mainly everything with, but then I have other close friends outside of that group that are into other things.

Overall though, it usually ends up with us watching a movie (whether it be going out to see one, or renting one, or watching one on tv).

6. Tell us about where you live.
Well, I live in Philadelphia, PA. There really isn't much to say about this place. Sure it's a big city, and it has it's up sides, but i'm not a city guy. I don't find joy in living in a place full of people who are ignorant to everyone for no reason. And I certainly hate having to watch my back every time I go outside (not a very safe city). My only advice should anyone ever visit this city... keep your guard up.

this should offer some insight as to why my friends and I typically stay inside when we hang out

7. Your profile lists your occupations as, "F/T patient at the local Mental Institution". Care to elaborate? (School, work, what?)
Just planning for the future. Considering I exhibit pretty much every sign of schizophrenia, and i'm pretty much completely screwed up in the head. Personally, I feel it just makes me more interesting ;)

As for my real occupation, I work at a not-so-local restaurant (I have a long way to travel to it). What do I do there? Well pretty much everything, but I was hired as a Cook. So I cook, I prep, I dish, I bus.... and that's about it (heh, as if it wasn't enough).

Then of course there's my side work with UNFLUX :D

8. Tell us about your first kiss.
My first kiss... hmm... oh yeah I remember! It was at the end of a school dance. It was with my ex (who at the time wasn't an ex), it was the last slow dance of the night, and it seemed as if no one else was in the gym but us. (wow that sounds so made up, but it isn't... it is cheesy though)

9. Tell us about your best quality (real or imagined).
Well I don't possess any special qualities that stand out, so I will go with patience. I am an incredibly patient person, and I can deal with a lot of non-sense. I don't know where this quality in me came from, considering most of my family lacks this.

And for physical quality, I have no clue why, but I get a lot of compliments on my smile and my eyes

10. Who is your hero?
    WOLVERINE!

Haha, actually, I don't really think I have a hero. There are people I look up to in life, and people I highly respect, but no one who I would actually consider my hero.

(if you haven't noticed in this post alone i'm a huge wolvie fan!)

Oh yeah, Australian and English accents are ALWAYS a plus in my book.

And PA isn't that bad... neither is Philadelphia in general... but there are sections of Philadelphia that are that dangerous. These are obviously the less suburban sections.

But in my area, my brother, my mother, and 3 of my friends (one of them twice) were mugged. My brother was walking home from work, kids jumped out of a car beat him up, stole his hat, drove around the block, threw his hat back at him and shot him a few times with a bb gun. With my mom, a kid try taking her out with a bike then stealing her bag, but she faught him off. And with one of my friends, this kid walked up to him asking if he wanted to buy drugs, when he said no the guy called out something and 3 more kids ran out from behind a bush and ambushed him.

Heh. So you see what I mean ;)

Hey -- that was my 43rd birthday!

Well, I live in Philadelphia, PA.

You and UNFLUX and I need to hang out -- although, I thought he used to be from around south-central PA, but now I see he's posting as being from a "real" place like Maryland.

9. Tell us about your best quality (real or imagined).
Admit it -- you're a "hunk" to the gals.

10. Who is your hero?
WOLVERINE!

1) ROFL... how ironic! It's not coincidence, it's fate!

2 (or 6)) We totally should, UNFLUX and I have been wanting to meet for quite a while.... he lives in Hanover, PA, which I believe is like 2 hours away from me.

3 (or 9)) Even so, that helps me none ;)

4 (or 10)) Wouldn't have it any other way!

That's sorta what I thought -- I'm quite curious why he is currently showing his "location" as being Baltimore. I'm sure there's a story behind it...but compared to his other past locations, at least that one's a real place! *lol
