1. Tell us how you came across OZZU.

2. Tell us about your hometown.
Home town is Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. High paced, high pay (well from the other provinces point of view), work long hours and very little to do over the weekends unless you party at the clubs etc.

3. What's the meaning behind your nickname?

Main Entry: ra·bid
Pronunciation: 'ra-b&d also 'rA-
Function: adjective
Etymology: Latin rabidus mad, from rabere
1 a : extremely violent : FURIOUS b : going to extreme lengths in expressing or pursuing a feeling, interest, or opinion

I was told while I was learning programming that I am like a pit bull and I don't let go until I get the answer. So I kinda put them together

4. Are you a student or do you work for the big man?
Hmm, I am gainfully employed at a large South African ISP.

5. How many hours a day do you spend on OZZU?
LOL, since the new job started not as many as I would like to but it used to be round 2-3 hours a day

umm, well yeah I got http://www.rabiddog.co.za that links to the photo album I wrote but was/is supposed to become a programming resource.

Then there is my famed music site http://www.sweetcheese.co.za that I hacked together to get my music out, kinda hoping someone important would hear it but anyways was very proud of the PHP code, effectively one PHP page that grows dynamically (figure that one out haha)

9. Who is your hero?
Not to sound funny or anything it would have to be Jesus Christ

Would have to be saturday, time with my wife, daughter and puppies

Play with my daughter, play with my puppies, spend time with the wife, research/reading, play/record music and development

My marriage
My daughter (you can see pics of her on the photoalbum)
and the way that I am able to teach people. I think once this project I am currently busy with is done it will be there too

Yes I did, went to church in the morning and had a family lunch with the in-laws. Once Skye can walk we will start doing the easter egg hunts. Maverick and Keena asked but chocolate isn't good for dogs

I have been told I should do voice overs for cartoons and then there is the music oh and I am able to pop my shoulder in and out at will

Well more than 15 minutes when the band I was in was gigging
My fav moment was when I had a solo at the end of the gig and everyone walked up to me afterwards and said "wow, you CAN actually play"

Winnie the Pooh rocks!

Have no idea, I leave that in my wifes capable hands

I think they all have their place but as long as it is strongly typed it doesn't bug me. Weakly typed langauges get on my nerves

most definitely an introvert unless you say something that gets my back up.

My christianity, my immediate family (wife etc),programming and a few others

30. When was the last time you really got in trouble and payed the price?

Hmmm, been a while, there was a horrible moment a couple years ago and I payed dearly but my wife and marriage have benefitted from the experience

World Peace, this would effectively eliminate all hunger as people would give a hoot about each other, the disease, well life is in the hands of God

and a couple others but my all time favourite and the ONLY one I play online -> Delta Force :: Black Hawk Down
was even considering starting my own squad but I don't have the time

34. Tell us about your dog.
Ah my little man
Maverick is a staffordshire bull terrier that loves people so much he scares them with his enthusiasm. He is well trained and loves running agility courses, his favourite pass time is racing through the house like a well known F1 driver and sleeping next to me or on my lap (which can be painful as he is about 18Kgs).

On the 4th April he turned a year and got a FAT bone.

He recently aquired a mate in the form of a brindle staffy called Keena. The two of them love romping around the house.

Yes I did, no we aren't and I am so thankful for that (high school was ten years ago for me )

38. Explain this to me, whats the arguement on the cat and dog thing? Why are dogs better than cats? why do you prefer them?

They aren't better than one another, but I prefer the loyalty and companionship that dogs offer. Also if anyone has to try anything around my family in the presence of the animals they are in trouble!

If it was for the army yes, if it was for the "thrill" no, got more important things to do
