Oh brother. Haven't had time until now to get to this, so here we go.
1. Tell us how you came to join Ozzu?I don't completely remember really. Way back in 2003, I most likely searched for help on something and came across Ozzu. I remember posting a website review back then and then forgot about this place until last year. Turns out I missed a lot!
2. Tell us about Rochester, NY.Rochester is a city about 60 miles east of Buffalo and has a population of around 200,000. It is known for its white hot dogs (usually referred to as "white hots") and a unique dish called a garbage plate, which often involves the former. [

It's located on the Genesee River and is home to the High Falls Brewing Company, makers of beers such as Honey Brown Lager. There are four colleges and universities in the Rochester area: the University of Rochester, the Rochester Institute of Technology, Monroe Community College, and Roberts Wesleyan College.
3. Your education states "Some college" What exactly does that mean?I'm currently a 3rd year student at
RIT.
4. Explain to those who might not know, the meaning behind your nickname.Back in 2002, I think, I went to Toronto with a large group of people from my church back home to see the Pope. Because there were so many people there, food was distributed in plastic containers and each person was given a spork. Every day, three times a day, for an entire week, we ate with a spork. After a long, philosophical discussion regarding the overall utility and diversity of the spork, I thought to myself, "Gee, I bet no one has that as a screenname." I was right. After it became my AIM screenname, I've used it for a bunch of other things as well. I guess it just kinda stuck.
5. How is your undergrad coming along?Fantastic. After I finish this semester (well, quarter, but I won't get into that), I'll be going on co-op (paid internship) this summer and resuming classes in the fall.
6. Give us your living arrangements. (do you live with roommates, alone, in a dorm, with family, etc)I live in an apartment on campus with three other roommates.
7. What's "Command & Conquer 3" all about?Command & Conquer 3 is the newest addition to the Command & Conquer series of games, which began back in 1995 with the original "Command & Conquer". It's an
RTS game and ridiculously sweet.
8. Who is your hero?My father. I've always looked up to him as the kind of person I'd like to be.
9. Finish this sentence "My life's motto is...""I can't believe I ate the whole thing."
10. Tell us something about your self that we might find surprising.I've never been outside the the U.S., with the exception of Canada. I really, really want to get to Europe after I graduate.
11. Spam us. Give us a few sites you think we should visit.http://www.something.comhttp://www.isitchristmas.comhttp://www.adobe.com/flex12. Have you ever tried to cry underwater? No, but consider it added to my todo list.
13. What are you listening to right now?The album "Seventeen Days" by 3 Doors Down.
14. What is your earliest childhood memory?I was sitting at the kitchen table and rocking back and forth in my chair. Then the chair tipped over backwards. I was 3.
15. Where do you see yourself in 10 years.Writing out paychecks.
Alternatively, under a bridge with a bottle of liquor in a brown paper bag.
16. Guilty pleasures & bad habits (cigarettes, gum, candy, etc) Give us the dirt!Coffee. Lots and lots of coffee. I drink enough that two or three cups of coffee does nothing for me energy-wise.
Beer. I like trying different beers and it tends to take a toll on the wallet.
17. Tell us something funny/embarassing that has happened to you.I honestly can't thing of anything that stands out in memory. Perhaps I've repressed all embarrassing memories?
18. Any useless talents? (double jointed, tongue can touch nose, great animal noises imitations, etc)Yup, double-jointed to an extend, but not ridiculously crazy like some people.
19. Have you ever met any celebrities? If so who?Don't think I have, actually.
20. What are your plans for this coming weekend?I have an interview tomorrow afternoon, and after that who knows. I have some work to catch up on unfortunately, but hopefully I'll be able to squeeze some fun in there somewhere.
21. What was your favorite toy as a child?A brown stuffed animal cat named Chuckie.
22. What are you most afraid of?Not being truly happy.
23. Did you spend any time in detention while in high school?Surprisingly, no. Thing is, you need to get caught first..
24. How often are you late for work/school?Late for work, very rarely. Late for class? Not usually, but some mornings were just not made for getting up, lol
25. Do you have any pets?I have a dog, a German Shepherd/Chow Chow mix. Here's a
photo; I'll let you guess his age
26. What were you doing right before logging in to Ozzu.com?Working on a project prototype for a usability course I'm taking.
27. Favourite TV show/movie?Favorite TV shows: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Trailer Park Boys, and South Park
Favorite movie: Die Hard
28. Pet peeves. We all have them. What are some of yours?Way to many to count, but to name a few:
- bad drivers
- when my professors erase the white board but miss a tiny little spot
- people who use the words blogosphere
29. What is one thing that annoys you about the opposite sex? There is absolutely nothing that annoys me about women. They are fantastic beings.
30. Do you know anyone who has auditioned for American Idol?Nope. If any of you ever do, let me know so I can change this answer, lol
31. Do you think Maths is learnable, or requires certain innate abilities? Both. There are some people who have an inherent ability to pick up on math concepts more quickly than others. But anyone can learn math if they want to, it's all about desire and dedication, just like any other topic.
31.1 If you think both, pls state, in your oppinion, by proportions, how much innate, and how much practise.I don't think it's globally quantifiable. Everyone has natural abilities to varying degrees. The key is to understand how to bring them out.
32. Will you be heading to see the Tartan Day parade through the streets of New York on Sunday?I will not. NYC is a good 400 miles from here and I have an 8 a.m. class on Monday.
33. Do you, in fact, keep sporks in your utensil drawer/tray/cupboard?Negative. When I was in the dorms my first year of college I used to have a bag of them that I kept adding to since there would be dispensers of them near the elevators in our building. But I threw them out when I moved out.
Right now, I have a box of 5000 plastic coffee stirs because I saw it for like $7 at Walmart and thought, "Imagine how many spoons I won't have to wash!"
34. Polka dots or stripes?Definitely stripes.
35. coffee or tea?Both, but see #16.
Do you play online poker
Not really. My friends tried to get me into it a few years ago, but I lost interest pretty quickly. I'd much rather grab a case of beer and play some real poker with friends.
37. What is your Ozzu password?Pl45t!c
38. Would you rather freeze to death somewhere really cold or scorch to death in some desert?Freeze. In the late stages of hypothermia, you basically start to feel very warm and tired, and then drift off into a peaceful sleep.
39. Are you embarrassed easily? Not really. I can usually turn embarrassing situations into something funny, so I don't mind them.
40. What is the meaning of life and/or the nature of the universe? The nature of the universe is purely mathematical (real math, not this calculus crap). Life is whatever you make of it. "42" is incorrect because it is not a prime number.
41. Why have you taken so long to answer questions from No.1-40.?Two exams today and a project due tomorrow = not a lot of free time this week.
*Whew!* I made it!
