Happy birthday kc0tma.

Over the 13 years I lived in USA I had so much Chinese food that I'm beginning to loath it. We go there at least twice a year on someone's birthday... getting annoying

Most Chinese food in the US is Americanized so it isn't very authentic, but in Sandpoint ID there is a little hole in the wall Chinese restaurant called "Bamboo" that is probably pretty close to what you would get if you were in China and is really really good. It isn't totally covered in fatty greasy sauce and they don't use MSG or anything, and you can tell that all their ingredients are fresh and nothing is deep fried then flash frozen only to be deep fried again before it gets to your table.

I want to go there... that sounds better then the Buffet we got here. The Chinese food we got here isn't all that bad but it's not that great and I ate too many times there... I'd go for some more authentic Chinese food like there... but maybe in about two years when I'm not so wary about Chinese food.

I love Chinese food, so i was understandably pleased when i was told by a friend of mine in Edinburgh that the best Chinese Take Away/Restaurant was literally 2 minutes walk from where i used to stay. I've never had Chinese food like it before, without a doubt the best Chinese place in Edinburgh.
