I didn't get any respect either....wait a cotton picking second... Its Friday and nobody is here today, I'm all alone. That really helps my morale, its sysadmin day and all my network users are avoiding me.

That first 'wizard' square happens to me all the time, and I actually have a logical explanation for it. People seem to get working hyper fast some times and they get ahead of themselves or they forget things or whatever, so what they are doing doesn't work. They call IT, and then you are looking over their shoulder while they work. They do what ever it is they are doing slowly and tell you every step along the way, and since they are taking their time and thinking it through it will work instead of going snafu.

Funny story: We got a fair chunk of stimulus money here at the school I work in, so we used it to get all new stuff in the bathrooms and new windows and to have the floors with asbestos torn out and replaced. The floor guys took all the doors off their hinges for their work and replaced them about a week ago. Since most of the building was closed off for their work, I haven't been able to get in and do a lot of the work I've been needing to do so I came in for a few hours on Saturday to get caught up. There was a class reunion here, so I shut the door to the classroom where I was going to be working but I didn't know the door knob was messed up. I needed to go back to my office, but the door knob was only spinning around and around and not opening the door. Oh no! I'm trapped in the art room! I wound up using my pocket knife to pry off part of the door jam then used it for the good ol' credit card trick to escape, then I taped the door open so that I wouldn't get trapped again. And that was the highlight of my entire weekend!
