Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful Valentine's Day gift.

There's another gift that would go perfectly with that, but I think it's pretty obvious :beerchug:

Hmm... not to go against the general flow of negativity here, but - V day being the lame holiday that it is - heck it's still a chance to do something nice for someone..... You don't need to play into the commercial side of it - you can just take it as an opportunity to treat someone extra nice, do something that will make them happy - in case you don't get around to it often enough in the course of regular life-flow...... I mean I don't rejoice at valentines or celebrate it with any fervor, but I don't hate it to distraction either......... any excuse to celebrate something, right? take today for instance.......... it's supposed to be Serbia's National Day - which they just made up a couple of years ago, seeing as this country changed shape and name about 4-5 times just during my lifetime..... but who cares - I get a day off from work! that makes it a fine holiday in my book! :D

As for joebert's brother's heart-shaped meat - I have to say I adore it, quite frankly. If it was available near me I'd be buying it always, forget Valentines.... Can he do the same in chicken or fish? (I don't have red meat that often..... hahaha of course this might entice me to start having more of it.......)

If I had someone, I'd treat them well all the time and do random suprises ... but alas I don't so I did nothing and only got 1 comment about V-day so that was good. :)

that's so nice......... so many people are real excited about doing nice things for their partner at the beginning of the relationship but eventually they get bored with it........ I still can't help myself, even after 10 years of being together (and one and a half year of marriage) every time I'm at a supermarket I look for a new kind of chocolate bar or some little thing I can bring back to husband as a surprise.

well, not rotten I guess.... but people start taking each other for granted.............. they stop going out of their way to think up creative ways to show their affection. it's the way of the world I'm afraid........

hahaha interesting point, joe. I guess I also like to see some human flaws emerge from time to time, now that I think about it.............
