Holy Thunder Batman!

Well in the past week and a half or so, there have been 12 thunderstorms, almost every day or night. I love thunderstorms a lot, but this is just rediculous! It's like there is this endless supply of rain or whatever. It's pretty insane at times though, we had two storms in one a few nights ago, and the house shook like mad several times.

yep, we are getting a lot of t storms as well....I think it is a marketing technique to promote the new movie 'The Day After Tommorow'

well actually a tornado just hit one county over, damaging lots of homes, and there are reports of people trapped

I just heard that myself. I'm going to have to power down I think. Lights are starting to dim a bit.

Well ive got massive flooding like 20 miles north of me.

Ya, thats been all over the news... Its supposed to be settling to normal by tomorrow I heard.

Seriously though, it's really hard to relate to crazy storms and stuff you guys get. I few years ago we had some heavy rain that raised the water level by about 10 foot, and that was the most extreme weather I've ever seen.

I think dynamic is the word that best describes the weather in the Ohio Valley. I lived in one part of this area or another virtually all of my life and it has never been boring.

we get ok sun, for about 2 weeks a year
rain the rest
1% chance of snow in winter
rest is baltently normal, USA seems to get extreme weather, dont know whats best, boring weather and no danger. Or extreme weather and a hint of a chance your house could blow away

I do love a good thunder storm but can definitely do without the hail and tornadoes. I wouldn't mind 60-70 degree weather year round with a good storm every now and then. I think this year we went from winter directly into summer. Seems like it's been in the 80's for the past 2 months. Not bad I suppose but I like cool weather.
